I ancient times the gods have enjoyed a time of prosperity, the old ways have held sway over the world, they rein supreme.

In the east a new god, his underlings the angels started to sharpen their weapons to throw out the supposed heathen gods, this one god would not participate in the fight standing back to allow his minions to do all the fighting for him.

A dark shadow spread over Egypt (the main battle ground) as the old gods had to deal with new beings on their patch, the old ways where things were balanced being forced out by new distructive un harmonised with nature ways.

Pagan, Egyptian, norse all gods are under threat bar one, the new god calling himself the master creator, angels mass in their hundreds and many old ghods may disappear from hisory in this war of gods.

Bio (3 lines min.): Bast or Bastet was the cat goddes. Bubastis was named after her. Originally she was viewed as the protector goddess, Indeed, her name means (female) devourer. As protector, she was seen as defender of the pharaoh, and consequently of the later chief male deity, Ra, who was a solar deity also, gaining her the titles Lady of Flame and Eye of Ra.
Due to the threat to the food supply that could be caused by simple vermin such as mice and rats, and their ability to fight and kill snakes, especially cobras, cats in Egypt were revered highly, sometimes being given golden jewellery to wear and were allowed to eat from the same plates as their owners. Consequently, later as the main cat (rather than lioness) deity, Bastet was strongly revered as the patron of cats, and thus it was in the temple at Per-Bast that cats were buried and mummified.

Bio: Sekhmet is known as the Eye of Ra, she was born of Ra to punish man kind. She would hunt and kill mankind, drinking their blood to earn herself the title 'The Lady of Dread' and 'The Drinker of Blood'. Seeing that Sekhmet was not punishing mankind but destroying it, Ra tricked Sekhmet into a sleeping state. When she awoke he reasoned with her, and she stopped her rampage.
She is a warrior, and a healer as well. She knows a cure for all sicknesses, and her worshipers are great doctors and healers. To see her true form is both a great honour on the battle feild, and an omen of bad things to come off the battle feild.
Sekhmet is a goddes of the sun, of music, and of destruction. She is strong willed but kindhearted, and her music is alluring to all the gods and godesses, and empowering to the humans.
Amoung the humans she plays the role of the mysterious and not often seen High Priestess of Sekhmet, and prefers this so she may walk amoung those she had been sent to punish so long ago and heal soul and body with music and cures.

Since Ma'at was considered as merely the concept of order and truth, it was thought that she came into existence at the moment of creation, having no creator and made the order of the entire universe from the pandemonium. When beliefs about Thoth arose in the Egyptian pantheon and started to consume the earlier beliefs at Hermopolis about the Ogdoad, it was said that she was the mother of the Ogdoad and Thoth the father.

In Duat, the Egyptian underworld, the hearts of the dead were said to be weighed against her single Shu feather, symbolically representing the concept of Ma'at, in the Hall of Two Truths. A heart which was unworthy was devoured by the goddess Ammit and its owner condemned to remain in Duat. The heart was considered the location of the soul by ancient Egyptians. Those people with good, (and pure), hearts were sent on to Aaru. Osiris came to be seen as the guardian of the gates of Aaru after he became part of the Egyptian pantheon and displaced Anubis in the Ogdoad tradition.


The weighing of the heart, pictured on papyrus, (in the Book of the Dead, typically, or in tomb scenes, etc.), shows Anubis overseeing the weighing, the lioness Ammit seated awaiting the results so she could consume those who failed. The image would be the vertical heart on one flat surface of the balance scale, and the vertical Shu-feather standing on the other balance scale surface. Other traditions hold that Anubis brought the soul before the posthumous Osiris who performed the weighing.

Ma'at was commonly depicted in ancient Egyptian art as a woman with outstretched wings and a "curved" ostrich feather on her head or, sometimes, just as a feather. These images are on some sarcophagi as a symbol of protection for the souls of the dead. Egyptians believed that without Ma'at there would be only the primal chaos, ending the world. It was seen as the Pharaoh's necessity to apply just law, following Ma'at.

Apep (Apepi, Aapep, Apophis) is a demon of the underworld, in the form of a giant water snake. It was believed that she was created when Nit spat into the primeval waters of Nun. He was the enemy of the sun god, trying to stop him as he travelled on his barque through the underworld each night. He was so powerful that little could defeat him, and even then, he was back again the following evening to threaten Ra. she was a demon outside of ma'at, the opposite of order, a demon of darkness and chaos.
Her name means mean ' the Great Snake'
She was depicted as a giant water snake, almost always shown being pierced by knives or other weapons or under the control of a deity, so his image would not give the demon power. she is thought by the ancient Egyptians to be over 16m long, with skin as hard as flint. His roar was so loud that it shook the underworld. He was called 'Evil Lizard', 'Opponent of Ra', 'Enemy of Ra', 'World Encircler' and 'Serpent of Rebirth'.
Apep before AtemIt was believed that Apep waited at Bakhu - the mountain of the horizon - to swallow the barque of Ra, or during in the seventh hour of the night. He also could swallow the waters of the celestial river in the underworld, or use his coils as sandbanks, to strand Ra's barque. Serqet also used her magic to protect the barque from Apep, as she had power over snakes, reptiles and poisonous animals. She was also thought to be able to hold Apep's tail. Maahes also protected Ra on the barque, as he protected the pharaoh while in battle. Shu was a defender of the barque, who used spells and magic to protect Ra from the water snake-demon and his followers. He was also thought to be caught or cut by other deities, including Isis, Nit, Sekhmet, Geb and the Sons of Horus.
The Egyptians believed that Shu was the second divine pharaoh, ruling after Ra. Apep's followers, though, plotted against him and attacked the god at his palace in At Nub. Despite defeating them, Shu became diseased due to their corruption, and soon even Shu's own followers revolted against him. Shu then abdicated the throne, allowing his son Geb to rule, and Shu himself returned to the skies.
Neither Shu, Maahes nor Serqet were strong enough to kill Apep. Only a few could kill him - Set boasts that "Every day I slay the enemy of Ra when I stand at the helm of the Barque of Millions of Years, which no other god dare do." He was the only deity who was strong enough to withstand the power of Apep, and to kill the water serpent.

Personality: She has a very sadactive personality. Very open and upbeat and full of life and joy. She also enjoys the thrill of battle and finds any challenge she gets into fun.
Bio: Freya was the daughter of Njord and sister of Frey. She was the leader of the Valkeyries. Freya was entitled to half the warriors killed in battle, the other half going to Odin. Freyja was described as an extremely beautiful goddess, blonde and blue eyes. Like Aphrodite, Freyja was the goddess of love and beauty. Freyja married a god named Od or Odur, and became mother of two daughters, Nossa or Hnossa, and Gersimi (both daughters' names mean "Jewel" wink . However Od had mysteriously disappeared. She wandered the earth, searching for husband, weeping tears of gold. (Od may have been another name for Odin).

After her husband (Od) had abandoned her or disappeared on her, she became the most promiscuous of all goddesses; she was probably the goddess of sex rather than of fertility. She had many love affairs, with gods, human, elves and even dwarves. Freyja was often seen as the mistress of Odin. Loki had accused her of sleeping with every gods in Asgard and all the elves in Alfheim (Poetic Edda's Lokasenna). Loki had even accused her of sleeping with her brother Freyr. Freyja and her brother were husband and wife when they were living in Vanaheim (land of the Vanir), just like their father with an unnamed sister. As I understand it, incest was normal practice among the Vanir deities, but the Aesir frown upon incest.

None of the gods like him, but he was allowed to attend the feasts held in Asgard, since Odin and Loki became blood brothers. He was cunning and resourceful god, often helping Odin and the other gods, though often causing more trouble and embarrassment.
Originally, he was a mischievous god but not an evil god. However, Loki was a god who likes to play practical joke on the gods and human.
Later his role became darker and more sinister, representing the evil god as opposed to the Aesir, gods of good. He was indirectly involved with death of Balder. Loki tricked Frigg in revealing his son's weakness and had Frigg's other son Hod to throw the mistletoe at his brother, killing Balder instantly.
To punish Loki, the gods bound the fire god in a cavern. Venom from a serpent would drip on his head, causing tremendous agony and such great spasm, that the whole earth shook. But he had escaped.

Bio :Lilith was on the earth before many others, as Hand of the Goddess Ishtar, sent to test the faith of men. When the All Creator created Adam, he purposed the woman to marry the man. Lilith consented and married Adam and they lived for a while in The Creators Eden. She bore him many children, all demons and spirits. But when The Creator sought to make his own woman he cast Lilith out feeling that her ties from another Deity would sully the purity of his people. Lilith was cast out from Eden and unable to return to Ishtar, Lilith became a Goddess in her own right, to the animals and beast of the land. She sought wisdom and power from these spirits and animals, because she was mother to most.

So in respite towards the Creator who stool her life, she tempts men from there wives and steals children to raise as her own, to become demons or the monsters of myth.

Bio (3 lines min.): Nevelon a name that ones meant nothing in the north or for the Gods. This young man was just one amongst a tribe that survived on their gropes but one summer had been harsh on them and for the first time they had to survive on mainly hunting. Many old members died because not knowing how to hunt, Nevelon prayed to the goddess Skadi to give him the power to save his tribe.

The young boy didn't seem to get an answer but the next day he had gone out hunting and it was then he encountered a large bear. By the size of it, the beast seemed to be a dire bear. It was to late for him to run so he had charged it to dodge two blows before he was thrown away against a tree, braking several ribs. The bear charged him and it was then two wolfs burst out and attacked the bear giving him the time to strike it down with his spear. The beast fell and he stood there with the two wolfs looking at him, this was the sign and blessing he had been given. He returned with the bear and so he somehow had been granted the power of the hunt and so he learned them before leaving them, listening only to Skadi and the hunt. The two wolfs followed him which he would call Jorme and Jorne, his only friends in the time that awaits him.

Bio (3 lines min.): Eris is the Goddess of Discord and Strife from Greek mythology. She is the constant companion of Ares God of War. Under some legends she is even his twinsister born at the sametime as him.

She is wicked and not well liked and ultimately the cause of the Trojan War. It was she who threw the golden apple entitled 'to the fairest' at the wedding between Peleus and Thetis that Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite dove for. It was truly their fault, they left her off the invitation list.

She is spiteful, mean, and sinister. This war sparks her interest and she does not care who wins. Only that she is given the opportunity to cause mischief and mayhem. The only one that has any sway over her actions is Ares.

Bio (3 lines min.):Cupid was the son of Venus (goddess of love) and Mars (god of war) When his mother got extremely jealous of the princess Psyche, who was so loved by her subjects that they forgot to worship Venus, she ordered Cupid to make Psyche fall in love with the vilest thing in the world. When Cupid saw Psyche, however, he was so overcome by her astounding beauty that he dropped an arrow on his foot, and so fell in love with her himself.


Following that, Cupid visited Psyche every night in his invisible form and told her not to try to see him. Psyche, though, incited by her two older sisters who told her Cupid was a monster, tried to look at him and angered Cupid. When he left, she looked all over the known world for him until at last the leader of the gods, Jupiter, gave Psyche the gift of immortality so that she could be with him. Together they had a daughter, Hedone, (meaning pleasure) and Psyche became a goddess of the soul.

However Cupid's love did not last long. (In God terms) Psyche and Hedone where slain by who no one knows, but Cupid convinced that it was his mother who had done it left Olympus and set out on his own.

Anubis ~ God of the Underworld

Anubis sat on top of a pyramid, he looked over the land, invisable to all others except other gods. A long spear was resting over his lap, looking over the sun stuck land.
Anubis sighed, he was utterly bored, the underworld was boring, there was nothing to do except his job and he wasn't really in the mood to.
Itching his ear he then yawned and stretched, leaning back on the stone and closing his eyes. He flicked his tail absently as he thought about other things he would much rather do at this moment in time.
"Where is Ammit when you want him?" He grumbled to himself, wishing someone would talk to him for once, the dead were no fun at all, but then the living humans weren't exactly great with coversations, the minute they saw him they ran screaming. Personally he was tired of it, sick of people being scared of him just because he was the god of the underworld, he was starting to think his existance sucked, most of the other gods paid little attention to him, his opinion was never asked for on most matters.

Anubis sighed and got up, thinking about going to one of his temples, surely there would be something he could do there...but then maybe not. After all the stupid new religion was being brought in. He wondered if there was any way he could cause some fear, then he merely shook his head and stood up fully, looking as one of his warriors came. "My Lord Anubis." The underworld creature that looked simular to him.
Anubis sighed and shook his head. "What ever it is deal with it yourself, I can't be bothered with it today, leave it for tomorrow." He said with a dismissing wave.

In all Odins name, if she was not one of the main Goddess in her land, then she knew that she would be erased for good like all the others. She knew it was to late for her own people, so she came here to help them out, once she found out what was going on.

Stopping in her tracks, the Norse Goddess notice some beautiful golden earrings. She never seen art work such as this before! She went to pick it up and let it sparkle in the sun light. The man at the stand just stood there ganking at her.
