Have you ever walked besides someone on the street, and you just couldn't take your eyes off them? It felt as if you were enchanted. As soon as it happened, they misteriously dissapear, and you find yourself looking around for them. You then continue on your way, but you just can't simply dismiss the feeling that they're still there. Have this ever happened to you..?

It was a Vampire, those creatures that feed on our blood and were simply believed as legends. Not many know about their existence, but is true that they live among us. Hiding, waiting to see who has the tastiest blood so they can make their move. Ah, so lovely.
They've been with us for centuries, walking in the shadows, observing our every move. Some are reckless and bloodthirsty, while others prefer to maintain a low profile. Nonetheless, we're the prey and they are the predator. Will this cat-and-mouse game continue for long? Or will humans finally become aware of their presence? It's all up to you.

The Vampire society is just like ours, the only difference is that theirs is reigned by a selected group. The Purebloods. They have rules, laws, norms, just like humans. Purebloods are direct descendants from the first Vampire, meaning their blood is not tainted, and are consequently more powerful. It's said that if a vampire drinks the blood of a Pureblood they become more powerful, and addicted at the same time.

Their society is now in riot due to the dissapearances of the head of the Pureblood Family, Sir Carl Blake and Miss Marianne Blake. Nobody knows for certain if they're dead, and the Royal Guard is investigating the case. The only ones left are their offspring, Princess Karlien Blake, Prince Jovhan Blake and Prince Mikael Blake, the oldest and next in the sucession line. For now, their uncle Salomon Blake has taken the lead, until Prince Mikael is old enough to take the throne.

The security of the castle they live in has been duplicated, and the Royal Children have been kept away from the public, forbidden to leave Royal Grounds. Nonetheless, they managed to escape and are now wandering around in the human world, trying to find their parents on their own.
What they do not know, is that it was a group of Vampire hunters known as The Black Rose who took their parents and killed them, and are now behind them. Their main goal is to wipe out the Royal family, consequently causing riot in the vampire society so it would fall apart from the inside. Now that the Royal Children have dissapeared too, Sir Salomon sent a squad of Elite Vampire Trackers, known as The Crescent Moon, so they would bring them back.

What will happen to them now?

Which side will you be on? Will you be a vampire hunter, a member of The Crescent Moon, a pureblood, a normal vampire, or an innocent human? Your choice.

Things you should know.


Important Facts:


x Vampires do not sparkle in the sun.

x Vampires are not weakened by sunlight, just bothered by it. They can cross moving waters, and aren't affected by Holy things. Try to stab them with a wood stake and get yourself killed.

x Humans cannot have special powers. Only above average abilities. Keep it real, people. (For example: A genius, excels at sports, etc.)

x Vampire hunters are just humans, only that they were trained all their lives to be able to kill a vampire.

x All Vampires possess enhanced senses and superhuman speed and strength.

x Purebloods are the hardest to kill. The only way to do so is to take out their heart while they're still breathing, and then burn their body.

x When a vampire bites a human victim, their saliva carries some toxines that are transported to the bloodstream via fangs. When those toxines reach the brain of the victim it is interpreted as a pleasurable sensation, so the victim will feel only pleasure while the Vampire feeds. If that Vampire decided to turn that human, then pain will result after the bite, while their body changes into one of a Vampire.

x If a Vampire bites another Vampire, they will feel no pain, only pleasure.

x The blood of a Pureblood Vampire is the sweetest and more tempting. If a normal/noble vampire drinks from it, then they become more powerful, and addicted.

x A normal Vampire can only have one special ability. (I.E.: Telepathy, Telekinesis, etc.) Meanwhile, a Pureblood can have up to two.

x There are no half-breeds. Only Humans and Vampires.

...Where are you? Her lips were dry, and her throat ached with thirst. But she wasn't going to give up. They had came all the way here for them. To find them, if they were alive... No, no. They had to be... But she knew better than that. Even though somewhere in her mind she hoped they were still alive, she knew not to be foolish. Coming to a halt, she sighed. They had been running from the Royal Guards of the castle, but they were far ahead of them, they would never catch them. Her lips turned up in a smile, and she looked back at her brothers. Oh, she was so grateful they had come with her, she knew they wouldn't let her get in trouble... Alone.

Chuckling at her own thought, she looked forward again, her face determined. They were at the final borders of the Vampire world, and on the other side was the Human world. She licked her lips, and took a deep breath. What if they got discovered? Would they get killed? Nah, humans were fragile creatures... Most of them. Vampire Hunters were another story. Oh, how she hated them, she was sure she would kill them on sight, if she had the opportunity. They were the ones that took her parents away... Those filthy creatures... She clenched her fists, her lips now in a thin line.

She was going to make them pay... She then looked up at the moon, surrounded by a black sky and millions of stars. It reminded her of her family. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, she bit her lower lip and observed how the humans at the other side of the border lived in ignorance, never suspecting what was beyond that forest. Fools... An exasperated sigh escaped her lips and she began to walk forward, her long, black hair flowing behind her in the chilly breeze of the night. There was no going back now. She was not going to let other people get involved in this. It was hers and her brothers' business, only. Blending in the shadows, she prepared herself to enter the human world. They couldn't be found out, or else it would be a total failure. Her crimson eyes scanned her surroundings silently, not missing a detail.

For now, they had to wait. Wait until the humans retreated into their homes, so then there wouldn't be a chance of seeing them. "Let's wait until midnight. Then we'll get in." She whispered, her sweet voice carried on by the wind. Judging by the position of the moon, they wouldn't have to wait for much longer.

It was the end of another day; stars glimmering idly above Amelia as she walked slowly home, hands in her coat pockets. As she walked, she faced straight forward, all senses on high alert at such a dangerous time of night. She felt a little silly- most of the time the city was no more dangerous during the night than it was during the day- but being alone in the bleak, dark concrete streets was a sure-fire way to up her personal space until it felt as if anyone passing within a few meters of her was a threat. It was cold, crisp even, but Amelia was fine; snuggled up warm inside a long, grey, military-style coat. Her face was the only completely uncovered part of her, and her breath came out in white puffs.

It had been a fairly uneventful day. She'd been at school for most of the day, then afterwards had an interview for a part-time job. What a ridiculous waste of time. She thought, irritated. The shop she was asking for work in wasn't really of the right calibre for such formalities. Speaking to the burly, thick-accented owner of the place had only really helped her to realise why the rates for the place were so low, and the questions he had asked her were on things she had already covered when she applied. Yes, she still went to school. Of course she did; she was sixteen. When he'd asked her if she already had work anywhere else Amelia had stared at him, speechless, for a good minute. Did he really think I would have applied at a place like that if I already had a job somewhere else? He'd told her that there would be a call when the whole thing was decided, but Amelia doubted it. The lack of customers and staff in the place told her it wasn't going to be open much longer, anyway.

Once all that had been finished, she'd got herself something to eat and shopped around briefly, on her lonesome. Amelia usually found that when she was alone her shopping trips were a little more successful, that she usually bought the things she had been intending to, instead of nothing at all. This time, however, she hadn't really been looking for anything other than a new jumper to keep her warm in the cold, and so hadn't bought anything. A good thing, anyway; she didn't have much money, hence the job interview.

Checking her watch, Amelia sighed. It was still a good, long walk back to her house. Then again, it was her fault for missing the last bus out of town. Moving her eyes up to the stars ahead of her, she meandered across the pavement whilst contemplating things deeper than her day.

And so, I enter into the storm of shadows.
As pitch-black as the depths of sea.

Johvan watched his little sister with a bemused half smile creeping at his lips. He adored her determination, the volume of her will. She had been the deciding factor in his choosing to come here, to the Human world. Karlien had asked, and who was he to say no? Of course he was interested in finding his parents, but he was far more interested in finding the fools who had the audacity to pick a fight with the Blake family, and expect to win. He could feel them shuddering under the weight of his stare... He could already hear them scream blissfully in agony... The Vampire Hunters were the reason he was here with his siblings. Johvan knew his parents were dead. Were they still alive, there would be no more hunters, and this search would not be necessary. It was logical to assume the worse in such a scenario.

Of course, he kept these thoughts to himself. Karlien was determined to find their dearest parents, and he wouldn't take such ideas away from her. He would follow quietly, and slip off when it was most convenient for him, but Johvan would always be close. He would not leave his little sister completely alone, and would always be near enough to come when he was needed. For the moment, however, he belonged at Karlien's side, and he would stay there gladly.

Johvan felt the leathery scales curl pleasantly around his neck, and slide down his arm, followed by a feeling of content and agreement. It seemed that Nhi'kiti was just as excited to spill the worthless blood of a few Vampire Hunters. She relayed her thoughts clearly to him, and curled herself affectionately around his arm. The snake made Johvan's smile widen just enough to be noticeable as she peeked her head out from the cover of his sleeve. She flicked her tongue across his thumb, watching Karlien curiously as she spoke.

"Why seek the cover of total darkness, little sister? What threat do human's pose to us? I say we feed, and make them know of our arrival. Let them send for their Hunters, and when they do..." Johvan sighed, unable to finish his sentence. He was rather excited at this entire turn of events. Perhaps a bit... Too excited, as it shone through his speech and coloured his words. He wanted blood, and he hardly cared who it belonged to.

Anna sighed deeply there she sat up in a tree trying to figure out what to do, though usually when she didn't have anything to do she just was trying to figure out were those stupid vampires was.'I hate this' She thought and jumped down the tree, she was the spy after all which means that she has to search for those vampires, she didn't like to say there name, even though she didn't like to say anything at all.

This was starting to get really boring, though it started to get boring long ago. Usually Anna liked to find out were they was but not today. 'I will just start now...' What she meant by that she do not now herself.

Anna smiled trying to think positive about this instead of negative, after all this wasn't so bad. A small giggled brake the silent as Anna jumped up in the tree again and disappeared.

If you had a really god sight then you could catch a glimpse of Anna when she jump throw different tree, not like a super human or anything she just was really god at jumping.

A smirk adorned her lips, she was thirsty, indeed... But she couldn't let the bloodlust get to her head. Grinning over her shoulder, she skipped back to him in a childish motion. Her ruffled black dress blending perfectly with the shadows. Her pale skin was the only thing visible in the darkness of the night... for humans, anyway.

The grin never left her delicate face, showing her pointy fangs. She looked down at Nhi'kiti, tilting her head to the side. She always wondered how their mind-linking ability worked. it sure was intriguing. "Ah, my dear brother. Patience is the key... Soon blood will taint your hands, and run freely down your throat... But for now, we must remain hidden. We can't be so foolish, don't you think?" She chuckled, the beautiful sound carried on by the wind, almost like a lullaby. She licked her lips and smiled up at him, an expression so innocent it could fool any creature that did not know her. In fact, she wasn't as... violent, as her brother, but she loved when blood was spilled.

"Talk about feeding... Do you think human blood is worthy? I've never really tasted it..." She wondered aloud, her gaze was now fixed in a group of humans that walked in front of them. She had always feed off the blood of her cousins and other nobles, since her guardians didn't think human blood was worth her tastes. Would human blood be as delicious as a noble vampire's? She sure wanted to find out... Shaking her head slightly, she returned her attention back to the moon.

Ah, it was a beautiful night, indeed. The soft rays of the moon iluminated some part of the forest. A breathtaking sight. She turned and skipped around her brother. She never had the chance to enjoy outdoors much. Always in the castle... She could only watch the night sky from the window of her room. Now, she was free... A small smile was plastered on her beautiful face as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the night breeze carresing her skin.

"Patience." Johvan mumbled as Karlien dance around him in the excitement of her freedom. Patience was a quality he had always lacked, most of the time. He could never wait for anything to happen, could never sit by and just watch as events flowed by slowly. Johvan needed to act. To force what few things that he wanted, into action. Now was not a time for patience. It was a time for action. Quick and sly, heavy and forceful. A message needed to be sent.

He wanted to taunt them. Incite them into failing.

"As you wish, dearest sister. We will wait..." Johvan sighed, staring off at the group of wandering humans that Karlien had spotted moments before. He longed to take them. To win his way into their lives, and destroy them as he fed on their loved one... on their family... on them... Nhi'kiti flicked her tongue, distracting Johvan a moment. He glanced down at her curiously, but the action lasted little more than a moment and he returned his focus on Karlien. "Human blood is nothing special, compared to that of our cousins. The chase, however... Makes up for it. Human's are so reluctant to feed us..." He sighed at the thought, smiling ever so lightly at the idea of a chase. "You might enjoy it, little Karlien..."
