Lanna picked up the flyers and smiled as she read them over. Fall Social, on the quad. Open to all. Friday starting at 6:00pm She smiled reading it. It was perfect, she just wished that she had put them up earlier in the week, seeing as it was Wednesday. But that is what happens when the printer doesn't get the order right the first time. She knew it was going to be a busy time for her. Walking down the street she stopped every so often to hang up a flyer on light poles to try to promote the school event.

Being a sophomore in college she was an active part of the school, just as she had been through out her high school career. She walked down the street and saw a Mustang parked outside the coffee shop. She smiled as she walked inside. She smiled and moved towards the cash register with a small bounce in her step. Stopping at the counter she leaned over slightly. "Can I put these around?" She asked as she handed the manager a flyer. "It's for the college." She explained with a gentle smile. "Yeah...late notice." She smiled as the man nodded his head. She lit up like a kid at Christmas as he agreed. "Oh thank you so much." She said as she moved the bulletin board.

Pinning up a few of the flyers she looked over at a few bare tables and set them down. She glanced over seeing a girl sipping her coffee, giving her some sort of strange glare. "Okay." She whispered to herself as she collected the few she had left and walked out hanging one outside the window of the shop. Walking down the street she looked around trying to find a few more places to hang the remaining flyers. A few more store fronts later she found the bar.

Walking inside the bar, she made her way to the billiard tables. Setting down a few flyers she made her way to the bar setting down the remaining scraps of paper on empty tables. Sitting down she smiled as she saw the bartender. "It's cool I placed some papers around promoting the dance friday right?" She asked with a grin as the woman nodded and Lanna smiled relieved. "Thanks." She said as she moved off of the stool and walked out happy she finished her duties for the morning. She walked back to the college, burying her hands into her coat pockets.

Harley rolled over hearing the annoying blaring of the alarm clock. It was so incredibly loud. She growled as she swatted her hand at it and fell off the bed. "Keen werewolf sense my a**." She grumbled to herself as she got up off the floor. Turning off the alarm clock she moved to the restroom ready to get ready for her day. It had been a long few days trying to find others in the small college town like herself. That was the whole reason she moved back to town in the first place. Washing off her face she looked in the mirror seeing her eyes flash a golden yellow color and averted her eyes to the sink.

It had been two years since her transformation. She had no idea what happened, but now she had the ability under control. Drying off her face she moved back towards her room and pulled out her clothes for the day.

Transferring to the college had been a drastic move, but if the rumors were true it would be worth it. Being an Omega would be dangerous, especially with what was going on a few towns over. Werewolves were being hunted down and killed. Strung up by the arms and cut in half by hunters. Of course the gruesome murders never appeared in the media, but word of the killings had spread through the underground community like wild fire. She knew vampires and other supernatural creatures had been hunted down too. Of course it was like this for many years, but never in drastic measures like this.

Sliding on her necklace she checked her hair one last time before sliding her arms into the leather jacket and grabbing her keys off the counter. She could hear her stomach growl as she locked up the loft. Walking down a few flights she made her way to the diner. She had the day free from classes and figured she'd use the day to re-explore the town. She wondered just how many people would recognize her. Of course the last time she was there she was seventeen, skinnier and asthmatic. Now though she was at the peak of physical wellness. That was the thing about the bite, it changed you. For Harley it was for the better. Seeing the diner she quickened her pace and smiled as she opened the door and walked inside. "Hey." She smiled as the waitress looked at her and watched her as she slid into an open booth.

Deanna braided her hair on the side of her head, focusing on her fingers as they went through her dark brown hair. She exhaled slowly feeling the strands tightened as she pulled. It was nice to get away from what had been going on. Moving out on her own to focus on school. To get away from her family, it was nice to be on her own. To protect the citizens of Ravenwood.

Of course Ravenwood has been infamous for being home to horrific monsters since it's founding. It was rumored to harbor over twenty vampires, that is when her ancestors came to the town. They exterminated most, and the rest fled the town. After that their work was over, so they thought. It turned out that witches were living in the town, growing their covens to over thirty until the werewolves moved in and took over. Since then the Argent family has been around the town every few years to check up on things. The last Argent to be there was her cousin, who had actually found love with a werewolf and was shunned from the family. She had not heard from him since. Truth be told she did not care about even knowing if he and his lover ended up, he broke the code of their family.

In all honesty she never questioned the codes and morals of her family. All she knew was that from a young age you are taught to hunt, respect family, and above all protect the lives of humans from the supernatural. Unlike her cousin she was taught this from a young age, where he was taught while being a teenager. Having the thoughts and ideals from passed generations passed on to her influenced her greatly as she grew up. It wasn't until her uncle began hunting down werewolves recently that she began to question the ethics in being a hunter. Not hers, but his. Leaving his group was a major stir in the family, but he made it worse. He killed five in cold blood, not proving they were a danger to the human population of West Virginia.

The knowledge spread through out the community to a mixed reaction. Some praised the man for his deeds, others looked down on him. Within all the confusion she left, deciding it was not for her to kill those she saw as innocent. Of course he did not see them that way. He saw them as nothing but monsters that even if they have not yet killed, they would do it sooner or later.

Taking a deep breath she tied her hair back with her hair tie and smiled seeing the braid. Looking over her shoulder she grabbed her bag and books and headed out the door. Locking the door to the modest house she walked down the steps to the SUV. If there was one thing she liked about living in Ravenwood, was the amount of privacy she had. No one to check on her constantly, it was refreshing. Setting her books in the back seat she moved to the front and hopped in the truck. Although refreshing the change of pace was still hard to get used to.

Arriving in the parking lot she turned off the car and got out, getting the books from behind her. Getting out of the car she moved towards the grass, listening to the mindless chatter around her. She moved holding her things towards the building to where her lecture was being held.

Piper woke early before the sun and did her morning stretches and yoga before she even went to the bathroom. Her bedroom felt old and the house smelled of fire as the fireplace crackled softly almost out from not being tended all night. Relaxed she felt soft fur rub against her bare leg and smiled reaching down petting the stripped cat. "Good morning to you Sir Philip, you will be feed shortly." Making her way to the bathroom she turned on the shower letting it heat up and did other bathroom needs noticing the steam curling from the shower curtain.

Stepping out of the bathroom wrapped in a soft towel and with dripping wet hair Piper was careful not to trip of the hungry cat and dried herself off before slipping into her outfit for the day tightening her bodice and pulling up her stockings. Most thought she was strange on a normal day but it was almost Halloween and she loved the holiday more than anything. Her shop was decorated for harvest and little Halloween tid bits. Fully dressed she dried her hair by running her fingers through it giving it soft waves, it was one of her favorite tricks and time savers. With the last touches of her makeup she moved on and down stairs with Philip right on her heels knowing food was on the way.

In the kitchen she put on the kettle for tea and grabbed the cat dish from the sink and opened the fridge pulling out a small baggie of portioned home made cat food and filled the bowl before setting it down next to a water bowl. Making her own breakfast of toast with home made jam the kettle screamed and she took it off the heat and poured herself a glass a tea dropping in a hot cinnamon tea bag. Letting it steep she took her breakfast to the back porch to over look her garden and sat in her chair enjoying the site of the sunlight glinting on the dew scattered all over the plants. With her breakfast gone she stood and picked up her basket before walking out into her garden inspecting every plant making sure it was ok and growing nicely. Her garden always lasted longer than others and was so full of rich herbs and flowers, some thought weeds filled in too many places but most had forgotten how important weeds were. Sitting in her herb garden she hummed softly and pulled out her shears carefully taking bits and playing them into cloth bags thanking the plant for its gift.

The morning came later than Aiden had predicted the night before. Walking through the backyard, he never had to worry about his neighbors. He lives on the edge of the woods, with his neighbors a bit away. He took a deep breath, smelling something sweet. He smirked as he walked inside and started towards the restroom.

Walking out he dried his hair with a towel. Sliding on his clothes he ate some toast and walked outside towards the backyard. He walked casually along the outer rim of the forest. He could smell her shampoo before seeing her. The smell of tea filled the air, and saw her tending to her herbs.

"Hey." His voice was deep and tired. He smiled sliding his arms around his girlfriend and kissed her temple. He held her from behind and rocked her gently left to right. "I missed you." He whispered burring his face into her hair. He made his way to her neck and kissed it gently.

Making a trail down her shoulder he smiled letting her go. Moving back onto the porch he smiled as he slid the chair from the patio table and let her sit down. He sat next to her and smiled watching her beautiful features seem to come more alive. He grinned just watching her.

"You look beautiful in the morning." Aiden told her with a smile as he reached his hand over to hers. He held on to it and smiled.

Filling up her basket slowly Piper focused on her task taking care of each plant she took from. Hearing a tired gruff hello she looked up and smiled seeing Aiden walking over and closed her eyes feeling his strong arms wrap around her and the soft kiss to her temple. "Good morning." He didn't come see her every morning but it was quite a bit, still each time he did was a wonderful surprise to her. Feeling his face in her hair she sighed softly enjoying there moments and smiled feeling his lips on her neck. "Mmm I missed you too." When his warmth finally went away she opened her eyes and finished with the plant she was on and stood walking over to him leaving her basket behind and dusted her hands free of dirt and sat in the chair he pulled for her.

"Thank you." Sitting she crossed her legs and looked over at him smiling at his compliment. "Thank you, you look tired I told you not to stay out to late." Grinning she reached over and brushed his hair back smiling softly. "You want some tea or breakfast? We went to the butcher last night so the fridge is stocked." Glancing up at the house she knew her sister and father would not be around anytime soon so they had time for a meal together.

Joseph stood alone in the dark strange room staring out the window waiting for the sun to rise. He had made it into this new town a few hours ago and had walked every hall in his new home getting to know it. Waiting for the sun to rise he waited enjoying the show of colors that never let him down. The charm that allowed him to enjoy such a site rested gently against his chest under his shirt. His goal for the day was to find the local witches and see which one was strong enough for such a charm and see how long they lasted. Price meant nothing to him, being alive for so long he had accumulated so much money that it just didn't matter anymore. He had time still with the charm about his neck but wanted to make sure the witches around here knew what they were doing and he wasn't stuck as a night walker...though it was his favorite time.

Looking up he didn't smile, his cold eyes watched in interest as the first rays of light broke through the night and slowly the sky changed from dark to pink, yellow, and soft blue. Once it was done he turned away walking into his large room and stripped out of his clothes leaving a trail for his servant to clean up later and drew himself a bath int he large claw foot tub. He had tried the showers everyone boasted about but didn't see what the fuss was about, stupid humans were always in a rush and didn't appreciate a warm bath to soak in. The tub full and steaming he stepping into the water and sank down enjoying the feeling and shut his eyes thinking over what he had seen so far of this small town.

It boasted about its college and small town life but the humans were blind of what surrounded them, he had easily spotted those who were different from his car. Monsters just held themselves different he had learned, the arrogance flowed off of them. Of course humans had that trait also but those humans did not last long normally pissing off the wrong person who held three times there strength. He did enjoy the old feel of the town, there was character here and he was sure plenty of ghost that kept others on there toes. Opening his eyes he noticed the water had cooled and it was time to dress and greet his new neighbors int he town and see who would be a lovely snack.

Stepping out he grabbed a warm towel and dried himself off going through the normal morning routine brushing his teeth and hair. Moving to his room his clothes were gone from the floor and walked into his large closet pulling together an outfit and dressing himself. Stepping up to the mirror he adjusted his clothing and ran his hand through his hair not liking the extreme neat look. Ready to leave he walked through the halls cutting through the empty kitchen to his garage pausing as he grabbed his car keys. Putting them back he walked out deciding that walking was a much better decision and enjoyed the cool weather promising of fall and frost in the near future.

Anna looked over her shoulder, making sure no one moved behind her. Backing up slowly she made it safely out of the driveway of the manner. The sun of the fall day made the whole town look creepy. Anyone who came in would say the town looked creepy as the leaves began to change color, and the sun looked dreary in the dead town. She drove her blue and silver bracelet protecting her from the harm of the sun. She knew anytime she would walk out without it in the sun, she would burn quickly, even for just a second. She protected the bracelet with her life, knowing just how hard it was to find a witch powerful enough to make an other. Looking up at the road she couldn't help but think that it was funny the only people out were those who were working, at school, or old. She smiled to herself as she pulled into the parking lot.

Parking her Mustang, she killed the engine and unbuckled her seat belt. Checking her bracelet again she smiled and grabbed her purse from the passenger's seat. She took a deep breath taking out the keys and opening the door. She looked at the bell tower seeing it was just past Ten thirty in the morning. Getting out she shut the door manually locking the door to the classic car. Walking around the front she opened the door to the coffee shop hearing the bell and seeing the barista smile at her.

For the past few days Anna was regularly there at that time. She smiled as she approached the young man and looked at him. "A light cappuccino." She ordered with a grin as she paid and moved to the side. Looking over out the window she waited for her coffee wondering what was going on. Just as she was about to move she saw a girl with a bright smile on her face bouncing inside. She couldn't help but cringe a little of how happy she was. Even when she was alive those kinds of morning people gave her the creeps. She watched as she hung up a sign of some sort. She heard her order and turned getting the hot cup. "Thank you." She grinned as she moved towards a chair sitting down watching the girl as she dropped off a few flyers at the front, seeming to be on a mission.

Aiden smiled hearing her good morning, he smiled holding her for a little while longer as she said she missed him as he did her. Letting go he let her finish up what she was doing. Walking over to the table he pulled her chair out for her. Scooting the chair in he smiled as he sat next to her. Hearing her he sighed some. "I am a little." He said enjoying the feel of her hand through his hair. "Breakfast?" He asked thinking it over. "Well I went on a run last night...But I can always have your cooking Piper." He said with a grin as he leaned in towards her, giving her a kiss as he got to his feet.

"I will only eat, if you promise to. And then if you allow me to assist you in the kitchen." He said reaching out for her hand to help her up. "It'll be fun, you cook I burn....your sister wakes up and runs me out the house with a shoe." He suggested jokingly. "Seriously, we can cook. Then you need to go to the shop right?" He asked as he opened the door to the house.

Stepping inside the house he let her guide him, careful not to knock anything over. He looked around trying to be quiet. "Your sister is the only one who is here right?" He asked curiously, wanting to make sure her father was not going to pop out of nowhere. Not that he disliked the man, but he was not too keen on him being a lycan. He also did not know about him and his daughter.

Walking to the fridge he found some bacon and some sausages. He could hear his stomach growl as he shut the door to the refrigerator and moved the meats to the counter next to the range. "What do you want babe?" He asked her as he thought back going and grabbing some eggs. Hearing a noise he paused, noticing that Piper did not hear it he went back to grabbing things. He was always so on edge when he was in the house while Ivy was in the house. "What about Ivy? What do you think she would want?" He asked thinking she would be scavenging when she finally rolled out of bed.

Remembering seeing Ivy the other day he turned to her grabbing some veggies to make omelets. "Speaking of Ivy, she was talking to herself again." He said looking at Piper with a concerned look on his face. "People are going to start talking if it continues." He commented. "I mean you have caught her doing it a few times too right?" He asked wondering if it was news to her.

The walk was a nice one, the cold crisp air felt good in his lungs and he was glad that he choose to walk to town. It was a short walk and it didn't take long for the sounds of the waking town to reach his ears. Hearing the rumble of an old car he was shocked that someone would drive it in this weather and not lock it up to stay safe. Looking over as it passed he watched the dark haired girl in the passenger seat and thought she seemed very familiar. Walking on the car had stopped and he glanced back seeing her enter the coffee shop. Moving down the street he circled the block till he had made a circle and was coming up on the coffee shop once again.

Stepping into the coffee shop he was assaulted with the smell of coffee and the sound of blenders. Standing in line he slipped his gloves off and slipped into the coat pocket inside his coat and stepped forward smiling at the woman working the register. "Good morning, may I have a hot chocolate please." Pulling out his wallet he paid for his drink and dropped a five in the tip jar knowing they didn't make much. Stepping aside he waited for his drink and scanned the room, not that he hadn't as soon as he walked in but wanted to look again. She was still in her seat and he smiled placing her in his memory, wasn't hard since she had stood out just as much then also. Taking his hot chocolate he walked over and sat across from her. "Ms. Thomas, you are looking rather well."

Anna could smell someone coming; she could recognize the scent but could not put a face or name to it. Dismissing the smell she focused on what she was doing. Hearing the bell of the coffee shop go off she glanced up seeing a man in a dark coat. His hair was slicked back some and he looked other worldly. This guy….She sipped her drink looking away, trying to finish before he made it to her.

As if reading her thoughts he slid in the seat across from her. His eyes were icy blue, his smirk one that made her feel like she had melted. His voice was sweet as she gave him a smile. “Well as I live and breathe, Joseph.” Her smile was catlike as she watched the handsome man in front of her.

“How long has it been Joseph?” Anna asked as she tried to think back to a time they were together. Of course it was always in passing through the centuries. “I want to say we last saw each other eighty years ago?” She thought out loud, and shook her head. “No Ninety…” She said with a nod. “I have to say you have not aged a day.” She smirked thinking her humor was funny.

Gracefully pushing her hair back she saw her cup was empty. “Are you just passing through?” She asked as she slid the cup to her hand and acted as if she were about to leave. She would rather keep their time together as short as possible. Every time she saw him she would get sick, even speaking to him made her ill. She always assumed it was because he was cursed, but then again all his meals seemed to love him. Then again compelling was not so difficult to go around the feeling of physical sickness. Anna sat against her seat as she felt her stomach feel almost as if it were fluttering, her palms were sticky.

Anna smiled gently, deciding that her sickness would be okay for a little longer. So, we are both in the same town huh?” She asked as she glanced at his hands and could smell the hot cocoa. “Why don’t we stay out of one another’s way? I will be on my side of town, Silver manor and all. You stay on your side of town.” She threatened him in a playful tone. She reached out touching his hand gently. “That or we most likely get into more trouble than we do on our own.” She bit her lip gently showing her fangs and smiled as she retreated back. She pushed her hair back and looked passed Joseph as a college student checked her out. She gave him a wink and glanced at Joseph. “Dinner beckons. Unless you want to join, but of course I don’t share well.” She slid her cup across the table, stopping as a piece of pink paper fell to the ground.
Bending down she picked up, reading what it said. “Well dinner is coming to me that day.” She set it on the table with a smirk. As she slid her hand across his shoulder as she walked past him and out the door with a smirk. Now let’s see how long it takes him. She thought to herself as she threw out her cup and walked down the street to the park.
