The ending was a cliff hanger but it wasn't a bad ending though either.
I believe a second season was already confirmed.

I might actual go read the manga.

i finished watching episode 12 yesterday last night and i was jaw dropping so bad. i was crying a little bit cause kaneki looked sexy af with white hair but there better be more episodes (or a season 2) e.e
