FIXED!!

im not sure if this is the proper place to put this post but
just today when i opened up ps cs6 i noticed my brush was painting transparently instead of solid like usual
the layer is set to 100% on opacity
ive tried to reset the brushes through the brush preset box but it diddnt work
im not sure what to do, any help would be appreciated.

It's possible the opacity for the brush itself is low, have you checked that?

Yep, it's the brush opacity. It's at 60% and shows it right here:

Fix that and you should be good to go!

also interesting, you can quickly switch between opacities using the keyboard 1-9 for 10%-90% and 0 for 100%.

it's probably how it got 'stuck'

im betting that is why, i have a swivvle screen and i musta hit it while i was turning the screen from tablet mode to type
