General Rules
#1) Follow Gaia's ToS. This also means, please, no submissions that are over PG-13.
#2) Treat everyone with respect. No bashing people, No flaming people, no whining, no drama queens (or drama kings) and no just being a jerk.
#3) Any complaining about not winning what you wanted to win will result in disqualification. Meaning you will win nothing.
#4) Absolutely no begging for gold, items, prizes, or free artwork. No one is going to give you anything but a kick in the pants. If you aren't wearing any pants then go away you sick freak.
#5) Don't advertise your contest, auction, or anything else here. This isn't an advertisement thread. If you'd like to exchange links, that's cool, go ahead and post the banner and code. Linking to your thread in your sig is cool too. But no blatantly telling us to visit other threads because you want us to buy something.
Entry Rules
#1) Art theft will not be tolerated. Period. This includes copying/altering official Ragnarok Online artwork and entering it in our contest. All artwork should be your original creation only. Don't freakin steal the reference images either.
#2) Edits of the original Ragnarok Online sprites will not be accepted for prizes.
#3) Again, no entries above PG-13. It's part of the Gaia ToS.
#4) Do not request an extension on the end date. It's impossible to do that for everybody! There will be no time for works in progress to finish. Get it in on time or it isn't qualified.
#5) However, the contest may be extended at the judge's disgression. For example, if there is a severe lack of entries or a personal/family emergency, the contest may be extended.
#6) If for some reason, your entry has any type of tasteful nudity in it, warn us first.
#7) DO NOT draw our Gaia avtars. That's not what we're looking for, and you won't qualify for anything. At all. o_O;;
#8 ) Any art submitted/drawn for us cannot be used for any type of commercial/for profit purposes. That means, no selling prints or anything like that to other people. Likewise, we will never, ever use your work for commercial purposes. We designed the characters, but the classes (e.g. the stuff they're wearing and things like that)are all blatantly from Ragnarok Online (with the exception of our beautiful Pirate Capt'n!). So yeah. Personal usage only, please.
#9) You're more than welcome to post any artwork created for this contest on your website, dA, portfolio, or whatever. However, we ask that you credit the characters as ours. In return, when we use your artwork, we will give you the same courtesy and credit you too. You are more than welcome to submit your work to RO for loading screen consideration. xD Please note who the characters are! We'd be so happy!
#10) There is a one prize per entry limit. However, two special prizes are excluded from this. The MVP Prize and the Lady Luck Prize. Those two prizes can be won on top of the "one prize per entry". (For more information on them, please see above).
#11) Don't submit artwork that we commissioned earlier. We already paid you, silly. So if you want to enter, you'll have to draw something else. xD
#12) There is no entry limit. Enter as few or as many times as you like. There is also no entry fee.
#13) Collaborations are allowed but discouraged. If you do collaborate on a piece of work keep in mind that it will be judged as one entry and you shall have to share any prizes. We are not responsible for any disagreements you may have and if there is a dispute over a prize your entry will be disqualified.
#14) There is no minimum entry requirement for any of the prizes. If you're the only one who qualifies for a prize, then you get it. It's really that simple!
#15) No asking us to change the rules. This isn't your contest. If you don't like the way we run things, go start your own.

Don't tell us that you suck. We love every entry we've received, and if you randomly don't enter because you don't think you're good enough? Then wtf, you make us very sad, because you didn't even give us a chance to decide if we liked your work!

This is a dictatorship, it's brutal unfair and completely biased towards our own opinion.
Don't like how we do things? Then go start your own contest.
We want to make this very clear. We don't care if you think something is "artistically superior" and should have won. Are we bias? YES. IT'S CALLED AN OPINION. It's our items and our contest, so it's our decision. Don't carry on about how we run our contest, what we chose, and how we're doing things. It's just annoying and retarded. If you give us reason to think you're a jerk, even if other people think you are "artistic Jesus", you are going to lose.
We will not play favorites. We're going to choose what entries we genuinely like most! The only exception is above. If you act like a jerk, we will remember, and you will lose, full stop.
We also want to note that just because something has awesome CGing does not mean it is a sure fire winner! If it's out of character, it's not going to win. We're going to pick the entries that we genuinely like most, not the ones with the best CGing. A sketch could very well win first prize if it really strikes us!
