I did this in ‘07 and got a pretty good turnout, so I’m gonna do it again with double the 1st prize pot mad

About The Contest / OC

This contest is for my OC Ohtar! She’s fabulous character with a fabulous story that’s waaaaaaaay too long to tell. The gist of it is she’s a mix-breed warrior woman on a mission! Cold and callous with a calm personality, often with quite the sarcastic undertone. She’s fit, and beautiful, hourglass shaped, and not reluctant to use her looks and charms to her advantage. But she’d much prefer to chop someone in half biggrin

The contest will be running for three months. That should be plenty of time to get in a decent amount of submissions and work well with others work/school schedules.

Contest deadline is: Sunday- January 25, 2010

Ohtar Stats:

Full Name: Ohtar Niniel Luinil
DOB: Unknown
Age: Unknown ( looks about 22 )
Race: cross between elf, non-furry cat, and non-furry fox
Hair Color: Auburn
Eye Color: Bloody red
Skin Color: Richly tanned
Notable Features: Long furred ears at either side of her head / Fox tail / Medium scar above her left breast / Large scar at her left side / Large scars on both cheeks / Multitude of teeny, tiny scars randomly scattered about
Weapons: A sword at her hip ( sometimes on her back )/ Whip behind sword ( if it’s at her hip ) / Daggers strapped around both thighs / I have no set style of these, but I'd like to keep them quite exotic and almost elven in design.
Clothing of Choice: None if she had a choice! XD But seriously >_> Skin tight leather-type body suit. Black. Long sleeved, long legged. Deep chest line coming downward just below her navel showing off a large gap of flesh from chest, breasts, and stomach- the edges of this is usually trimmed in gold.. But I‘m willing to deter off that path to make the costume completely black. And knee high black boots of the same fabric.
Pet/Buddy/Familiar: An itty, bitty, kitten sized green fox. LARGE ears.. Kinda like a Fennec Fox’s and often wears the symbol of Ohtar’s planet as a collar.
Where does Ohtar 'hang out'? Ohtar is apart of the cliche settings of the RPers of past. She's a traveler, so she's often on foot using the forest as her cover. She'll occasionally have an urge for a drink, or to embarrass a few men in a game of cards so she'll find a tavern to entertain her. If not either of those, she's probably on a branch above a lake fishing. She loves fish :3 Very tasty little creatures for her.

**Ohtar is NOT a furry. She has SKIN. The only fuzzy bits about her are her tail and her ears :3

x You can enter as many times as you'd like!! :3 But you can only win once!
x Submissions are not to be chibi/SD or any variation of the form
x Submissions are to be full color or B&W, no line art/pencil/etc. All medias are welcomed, but they need to be FINISHED pieces that are either B&W or fully colored.
x Submissions are to abide by Gaia’s TOS, rules, and terms/conditions for displayed art on this site
x Submissions are to be FABULOUS!!! No exceptions!!! >:O
x Feel free to submit WIP’s, I’d be happy to post those up until the finished product is done
x Collaborations are perfectly fine! The prize will be split evenly between both artists if a collaboration piece wins.<3

x Though I strongly prefer her to be in her costume, it's not needed. Ohtar's other forms of wear would be her costume or very sultry evening gowns... so if you want, feel free to try for one of those. :3 But I prefer her costume.
