I'd say you'd hear tell of people being injured or arrested for "Gardevoir abuse."
Got a lot of people who think it's hot, they try some funny business... OBVIOUSLY Gardevoir doesn't appreciate it, and because it's such a powerful Pokemon (remember, it's a third stage evolution, so it's got a lot of battles under its belt), someone gets hurt severely. Or if for whatever reason it doesn't mind humans, some snoop is going to call in a report of Pokephillia and everything goes to hell from there.

Not going to lie, I'd consider something like that myself. If I act on it or not, I wouldn't be able to say for sure.
