Just finished this anime. Holy cow. That ending.
Overall though, I feel like I could have liked it better. Not that I didn't like it, but I feel like the potential laid out with the plot that they developed, it could have been like, in my top 3 for animes. I don't know there were just times when I felt like I didn't like the writing, it was weird. Like, somethings were really well thought out and enveloping, like the world and back story and junk, and then every now and then things were just totally cheesy and really took me out of the anime. Like some of the dialogue or some of the scenarios they established very haphazardly that were clearly there to forward to the plot....
In the end, I'm gonna say what everybody else has said so far. Now I need to read the book. I feel like a novel will give you more room for explanation and that will probably help with some my qualms with the anime.
