Bubblegum is usually selfish, I think her actions for Marceline in Sky Witch is the most selfless I've ever seen her, so she obviously cares about her biggrin
and Marceline also obviously still has some issues with PB but can't find an easy way to get past it without addressing whatever they haven't told us
