He just made a mistake. I use to be a reff (for a quick summer job) last year, and my god its really hard. Let me tell you.

I totally agree with Robotic Pony; Being a referee is a tough job. Making one bad call can piss EVERY SINGLE PERSON off. I did it last summer&I always had parents screaming their heads off. It's tough. But back to the point of the referee for the game, it was first international appearance. He's not that good; Good thing he won't make another appearence again; He got fired. biggrin

He made a lot of poor calls against Slovenia too which could have changed the way the match ended up.
There's no way of knowing what the outcome of the game would have been now.
Better to just accept it because it's not going to change. =_=;;

Well, in this match and even others. Simply put, the referees here are unfair.

they are unfair... they have always been unfair... but this referee was worse than the Rockies Playoff Game

Am I the only one that thinks it's ridiculous that they would let a ref from Mali work a game that has a direct impact on Algeria's chances to advance? That'd be like having a ref from Canada or Croatia ref the England-Algeria game. If they screw up something that bad, you can't help but wonder. They wouldn't have had any accusations of this sort of thing if they had refs from Asia and South America working this group.
