You might as well. You are just going to keep getting new fans at this rate. I would suggest disabling your profile comments for a little while until this prom deal settles down a bit.
Something I've noticed about his event, the guys seem to be getting more comments than the girls are. I guess the male gender is more "nonchalant" about this sort of thing than the females.
