Oh you know... lotsa food and drink (sparkling wine, no beer for little me -_-), not too many presents because we're still recovering from Typhoon Ketsana... and thesis galore for me. If I can finish it, and I really want to, I'll graduate on time. And screw everything afterwards. Heehee. Sometimes it depresses me, sometimes it drives me to the point of despair, but I often get over it--mainly because I want it to be over as soon as possible.

lol, i do go out... once in a while, whenever i feel like it. it's just the movies are too costly for one such as me; i prefer to wait for dvds so i can read reviews and watch the good ones over and over again. and i do watch the news.

my recreation doesn't often involve screens, but i do procrastinate A LOT. like, surfing the net or getting my hands on limericks or something. here's a good one:

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,

we all got to wear whatever suits us this year, as long as we had masks. the idea behind the masks was that the line between cadets and cadet officers would be blurred for that particular night only, but we all knew who was who and the officers didn't behave like assholes. or most of them didn't. lol. shame my camera's batt died halfway through the party.

yep--it's on friday. and last sunday we had our cadets' ball--only time of the year when cadets and cadet officers can wear dresses and other non-military-ish stuff xd

and i am just a 4Cl cadet who has no intention of going through the Candidacy Course xd i simply forgot to take my mandatory community-service units when I was younger, and now i landed with ROTC in compensation. ROTC tires me a lot, forces me to work physically when all work i do in my life is limited to mental and domestic.

teacher? lol, my school is in dire need of some... particularly because most professors emigrate or go for private schools, in want of higher salaries xd as for me, i can never have too much patience to be a teacher. so i have really high respect for those who stick to that job

just came from an ROTC training. dead tired. but fun, in a masochistic way (who wants to run around one of the biggest campuses in the Philippines? and do some drills afterwards)

lol I am resisting watching that 2012 movie. because... i dislike conformity D: not that i think the movie's crap, it's just that i'd rather wait for it on dvd or something, when the hype's already gone. xd
