I was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and moved to the U.S.
I've been living here for the last 8 years and love it, though I do miss my fellow Canadians terribly. I love to read, listen to music, swim, and hang with my friends. I also like to roleplay. I usually go for any scenerio, if I don't know it, describe it to me. PM me some time ;D

My Tribute to Andy aka Koware-Yasui
My new, but close friend Andy took his life yesterday on June 3 of 2009. Though I just joined Gaia about a week ago, he was one of the first people to reach out his arms in welcoming. When we'd talk it felt like I had known him all my life. I didn't think he'd go so soon. We had agreed that I was going to come visit him this summer in BC, and we'd go to the zoo and hang out. And he said he would send me his stories he had written, I was looking forward to reading his works. And know I'll never get to see that day. Though through all his struggles he couldn't overcome the losses he'd expirienced. His wife and kids, his husband from his second marriage and the loss of his parents in a tragic fire.
Sometimes I look at my life, I grunt, complain and bicker. But knowing someone else who had it worse than me and was still 10 times happier than myself, really changed my perspective on life. Andy I prayed for you every night since we met, and I guess it wasn't enough. I thought he'd be with us a bit longer. I wasn't ready, I was caught off guard. This is real, this life is real. Live it to the fullest.
Andy had no personal regrets really, but kept pressing forwad with each new waking day. He had accomplished more than the avergage man, and I find that an insparation. I hope you find him an inspiration as well. I hope that for those of you out there who feel like your hanging from a thread of rope and are so close to letting it all go, to please, plese, please hang on a bit longer.
Andy told me about his stories just two days ago, and they were of angels. One was named Gabriel, just like me. He described the character to me, and it sounded quite similar to mine. I loved Andy. Though hard to believe, since I've only known him for a week or so. But in those 168 hours, he bettered me. He changed my life. Though my name is the name of an angel, Andy was the true angel.
I don't believe that people who are gay, bi or who are differently sexually oriented than the norm should or are going to hell. We are all good people. If you commit crimes and such that's a different story but, for feeling what's real is no crime. Andy is up there now sitting with God. Watching us all.
I don't know what more to say. All I know is you were loved more than you'll ever know, Andy. All the people who missed out on a super fun, cute--yes I said it, bright guy are totally screwed. I love you Andy and I will never, ever, ever forget you my bright blue eyed beauty.
