Bio: Yumi Uchiha is a shy, timid kunoichi of Konohagakure from the Uchiha clan. Although she may be shy and quiet most of the time, when angered, you better watch out! Yumi is actually a sweet and gentle soul, only fighting if the situation calls for it, or if her friends or loved ones are in danger, and is never one to back down from any challenge, as are all the Uchihas with their proud nature and pride. Becoming chunin at the age of 17, Yumi has come a long way with her training and honing her skills to perfection, just as her cousins Sasuke and Itachi did. When she was younger, Yumi always played with Itachi and Sasuke because they were the ones in the whole entire clan with whom she felt most comfortable. From the way the three played and laughed together back then..you'd seriously think they were all siblings. Everything was fine..until that one unfateful night..when the entire clan was slaughtered by none other than Itachi, but for what reason, Yumi did not know. Yumi was at Hinata's house when this took place, but by the time she arrived home, it was already too late to do anything about it. Not too long afterwards, Yumi discovered her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, murdered...all except one--Sasuke. She found both Sasuke and Itachi at their home, covered from head to toe in blood as Itachi stood before their own parents, as she took note of a shaking, terrified Sasuke, a cold chill running down her spine. It was then that Yumi caught the look in Itachi's eyes--a deadpanned, emotionless look, chilling her to the core. Upon hearing Sasuke's words to run and not look back, she hesitated for a moment before doing as she was told, not before asking if she could help him somehow in finding out who did this, tears running down her cheeks. His last words to her that night remained forever sketched into her memory, never to be forgotten--"It was Itachi...Itachi killed them all." About to run, Yumi turned to dash out the door, colliding face first into Itachi, his Mangekyou Sharingan ablaze, pulling her deeply into the world of Tsukuyomi, as he did to Sasuke beforehand. After that, Yumi passed out, waking up in the hospital hours later, looking around frantically, wondering what happened. It was then that words were exchanged and spoken in a hushed manner amongst the nurses, whispering that she and Sasuke were the only survivors of their clan, Itachi having long fled the village hours ago, never to be heard from again. After Itachi had abandoned the village and left, Yumi felt very confused and betrayed, just as much as Sasuke did, he too, not long after abandoning the village himself to gain more power to defeat Itachi for the sake of their clan. After two and a half years had passed by, Yumi became even more successful as a kunoichi, becoming a Chunin at 17 years old. Having matured greatly both mentally and physically, Yumi soon after got permission from the Hokage herself to go out in search of her cousin Sasuke, wanting answers more than anything, and also, if she'd ever find Itachi..and get her revenge as well for what he did to her and Sasuke, their clan, and their home. After searching for him within those past couple of months, she finally ran into her cousin, learning everything from him that has come to past--the death of Itachi, the reason why he destroyed the clan, and what his next move was. Feeling mixed emotions washing over her entire being, Yumi sat down with Sasuke, slowly trying to process and take everything in, but to no avail. She also was fortunate to meet his platoon, "Taka," formerly known as "Hebi," which consisted of Karin, Suigetsu, and Juugo. Then, there was Him...Madara Uchiha. As soon as Yumi laid eyes on him, she felt such a cold, menacing aura emanating off of him, almost as if his eyes were boring into the deepest, darkest depths of her soul..so untrustworthy, unforgiving, and merciless. Sasuke then told her that he was traveling with him and was doing what he asked until he could put his real plan into motion...but why he followed him was beyond her, but this plan that he spoke of, she definitely did not want to be part of it, nor did she want to get trapped into something that would be too ridiculous and chaotic to get out of. So until the right moment comes, she will wait to make the right move..and help Konoha to somehow stop this altogether from becoming much, much worse...and maybe..just maybe, talk some sense into Sasuke and get him to come back home.
