I've been meaning to re-read the Shiver Trilogy again, but just haven't gotten around to it . Hey, whatta bout The Raven Boys? Have you bought/read it yet?

Yeah, I heard it sucks. blaugh But seriously, I did pick it up and read the first few pages, and the first thing I noticed was that atleast two of the characters had the same names as others chracters from a different series(also about werewolves) so I just put it back; There was no way I could have read it without picturing those others characters.

It that that book series where the guy's a werewolf and part of the Russian mafia? The whole mafia bit seemed like it would be enough by itself without adding werewolfism to the mix. Seems like it could get confusing and very messy.

Thanks for the link! I'm not so sure if I'll actually read the book, though. *shruggs* What can I say, I'm terribly picky and don't really feel like getting involved with another series of book at the moment. I know that's contrary to what I said before, but thanks to my dog, I'm going to start reading this other series that may--or may not--be worth my time.

Oh! *facepalm* I'm an idiot. Of course I know what your talking about! But, saldy, the woman who works at the library checked into that and ,apparently, none of the other libraries carry Kill Me Softly, either.

I've read an expert from Iron King, but couldn't really get into it. Maybe I should try actually reading the book...I've never heard of Darkfever, so I'll have to make a note of it, so that I'll remember to read it sometime. I've been dying to read Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross, but my next-to-useless library doesn't carry it.*frowns* It's based on Grimm's Fairy Tales, so it should be pretty interesting.

LOL "Do I like Fey"? Are you kidding, I'm obsessed! Maggies Stiefvater is supossed to be releasing "Requeim", the final book in her faerie series, next year, so I can't wait! Until then I've been reading books like Tithe by Holly Black and Irish Fairy and Folk Tales by Yeats.

Yeah, I've heard of both of those. The Wolf Gift seemed way too predictable to me, too much like those old horror movies. I'm looking for something a little more modern, while still holding on to those traditional roots.'The other just didn't intrest me. Hmm, maybe some of those people were right when they said that I was too picky...
