Well do you have a Mac? because I've got a Mac, so I have a feeling I got the Mac version of the download.
I'd suggest playing it on a friend's computer, somebody who already downloaded it. It's a short game, only a few hours, shorter if you're good at it.

Sorry, it wasn't free originally, it was only being given for free for that set period of time, it costs money again now sad
I downloaded it from the site that the link lead to, Steam...while it was free. And I did play it, beat it, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and will probably play through more of it soon for the extra challenges and stuff. And techincally, you were two days late, since apparently it ended in the morning on the 24th...as far as I could tell. Sorry, it costs money now, unless you want to try being all illegal about it, and i would not suggest that...although there is a demo version, with a little of the game that you can play for free, to see what it's like.
