REAL WORLD:

I guess if you are reading this you want to know about the real me. ..

Updating on my last entry here. I guess not much has changed. We're still living in our little house in the 'burbs. All our lovely pets are doing well. I'm still supporting our household through my business. Hally recently finished his phd so he's home with me a lot now that he's looking for a job. No news on when we'll be going ahead with rebuilding the house, due to the general instability of the property market here.

It looks like we won't be able to do any travel this year, especially with Hally looking for a job. I'm really keen to go away when things settle down, though. I'd really love to revisit a few places in Asia, particularly Indonesia and Thailand. I'd also like to do a big trip to the USA, although that's a lot less likely due to the distance. Hopefully it will happen one day though.

Lately I've really been doing a little "one item per day" quest here on Gaia to keep me engaged on the site. I have a real problem staying socially active here, but my quest thread is the one thing that really keeps me motivated to post. I have a lot of issues when it comes to being social, both online and off, but with the help of my friends here, and my beloved Hally, I'm trying to find some sense of normalcy. I can't thank them enough for their help and support.

Anyway, random messages and comments are welcome - I still find it hard to make and maintain relationships with people both online and in real life so please bear with me.

anyway hope you're doing well even while on hiatus. i left gaia one time for...4 years and came back. maybe in a couple of years something about this site will appeal to you again biggrin just glad to know you're not dead! woohoo!
