It's alright, I don't mind the wait. 3nodding I just need more people to rp with because I get bored sometimes and feel too brain dead to write stories or draw, so rping normally helps get my brain going. And, it's cool about him talking to himself. I don't mind. 3nodding

"In my experience, it can be best to leave parents wondering rather than try to explain... some matters, to them. My uncle felt rather the same way. Married so people would stop suspecting. To my knowledge, he and his wife have never even slept in the same building together, but it seems to suffice in shutting up 'polite society'. Bah. What a crock. I've my reasons for not bothering with any of them."

He nodded, listening politely, and wincing at the end of it.

"... You don't need to worry about my judging. My dearest friends... my own uncle, in fact. Where I'm from, one gets hung for fraternizing so with another gentleman, and it's always bothered me how petty that reason was for sending another human being to the gallows..."

He leaned in as he listened. Clearly trusting, for better or for worse. Dr. Carswell was a ravenously clever man, but he was also very heartfelt and naive.

His eyebrows raise, and he takes his glasses off to polish the lenses. They were free of any sort of mark or dirt that would have necessitated such an action, but it served- he hoped- to draw attention away from the tired sadness in his eyes.

"It is my experience that one needs to learn that lesson himself. Hearing it from others tends to ring hollow until one is ready to absorb it."

I admit to being similarly intrigued. ...I think insofar as myself, it's rather a mutual matter, but I could see the man sizing me up and trying to work out how exactly he may best me with whatever I told him, so I did not tell him much.

He is... extremely guarded. One can hazard guesses as to why, but I'm afraid I don't know him well enough quite yet to feel quite accurate in my speculations.

He was't what he appeared- but then again, neither was Dr. Carswell, not by the longest god damned shot. How much should he infer? Was there a solidarity to be found between monsters?

Of course, I beat him absolutely senseless in the Battledome, so that may have been why.

Cabal made a noise of disapproval, but shrugged. "If you're worried about reputation, now would be a good time to start repairing it: Cite yourself as being 'exhausted' and thus the reason for your ghost sightings- it's plausible enough. Go to a health retreat, waste a month or three there then return and speak no more of your spirits. Live with them the best you can and entertain yourself... however. I suggest looking into the Spiritualist movement. Might give you a few names for you to patronize with your fortune."
