Wish List

Wintia was a name I made up when I was in 5th grade because I liked winter and loved to create stories. I like the color blue, and I like number eight. I've become a procrastinator and am currently the president of a certain club... I'm also watching over the battlefield, cheering and observing from far away... I've quit that battlefield a long time ago, and it's good... now I'm merely a spectator. wink
I love reading manga and playing games (though I am sometimes picky... not that my tastes are anything to go by, but well, preferences) and since school is rather taxing, I can't watch too much anime. crying
I've become more honest, but I'm still shy and silly as always.
Basically, I'm just another boring individual.

I'm sorry, I guess I was too nosy, right? sweatdrop
But I know how it feels to live things in a half-heart-ed sort of way. I used to be like that when I had it planned to be an architect. However, drawing the characters and pictures you see on my profile, I realized I would never be happy doing architecture.
Anyway, my love and interest for characters and their development comes from animes, too, but mainly originates from my love for the Harry Potter series, whose characters fascinated me ever since I watched the series. heart

Well, I don't want to be the smarta*ss who says this, but maybe you should just follow your dreams, if you really believe in them. Well, excuse me, I was very nosy. sweatdrop
I draw with the purpose of perfecting myself ever since I was 2. Ever since then, this was a better way for me to express myself than written words. Well, not always, but whenever describing a story, I'd rather draw it. Of course, that's scarcely possible. My friends tell me that I have a knack for storytelling, but when it comes to writing them down, I always lose my patience (which is actually pretty extensive xd ) and get pissed at myself for expressing something in one way or another, and for not using that idea, and for describing things all wrong or leaving out details... long list. That's why I'd like to make comics. I too first said I want to make manga, but now I've discovered my newest style (that first picture that I showed you) and realized that my best style is my own. I do retain a few elements of the manga style, though. Maybe more than just a few. xd
Well, it'd be a dream come true to be a published author, and with my newest (and biggest story) that I've come up with, I hope to become one. However, my dream career is fashion, ironically. But not the simple fashions that are worn by people today. I tend to a more vintage style (as vintage as 200-300 years old xp ) and if that doesn't work for the masses or the catwalk, then I can always make costumes for movies or theater plays. 3nodding
However, whatever career you pick, as long as you continue your stories in the background, maybe you'll be able to publish them, independently of your career. Anyway, being an "author" of any kind should not be, in my not so humble opinion, a career, but a hobby. A hobby that may or may be successful, but at least you are not relying on pure chance. So, I say you should not minimize your work; think about maybe publishing one or two. Or at least trying. wink
Well, I don't want to push you, sorry if it sounded like that. Just giving advice. emotion_yatta

Oh, don't ask me about Facebook, I don't use it and have no idea how things work. xd But no need to bother making your profile public, it's fine. I know I would be reluctant to make my profile public in this world of creeps. X_X Maybe you'll get the hang of Photobucket, that's much safer. But really, you don't have to bother. I will take your word that you are good. 3nodding
Excuse my possibly impertinent question, but is drawing just a hobby to you or do you also intend to make a career out of it? biggrin But of course, if you don't want to answer this, it's fine and I understand. emotion_yatta

Oh, I love drawing clothing. Mostly vintage clothing, as my profile shows. ^_^ I love putting great detail in them, and since all my drawings are made on paper, that isn't always easy. If you'd like to see, here are my favourite clothing designs that I drew: [X] (which is new, and is not on my profile) [X] (which is in the big collage on my profile, but you can't see the clothes properly there).
Anyway, I would appreciate your opinion on these, most of all the first one, since I am experimenting with that style. ^_^ But I would also like to see your drawings, if you can show me. 3nodding I'm always eager to see the work of other people. heart
I am currently going to some special courses on graphic arts, to prepare for the admission exam for college. I am learning (or rather re-learning xd ) anatomy and proportions, only in charcoal. Charcoal is really bothersome, so I can't wait to be done. I am too practicing hand poses. Those are actually my main homework. xp So I guess we're both in a state of learning and practicing. And if you'd like to see my hand studies, maybe you can give me some feedback on them. I'm always a bit shaky when it comes to hands. sweatdrop
