Hi. I am obsessed with Oscar Wilde and am currently attempting and failing to write a very long epic about Victorian vampires. What about you?

I think the only thing that made Twilight, the book and the movie, worthwhile was the fact that he sparkles.
Which reminds me. . .
I think you'll get a kick out of this: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/487878#
I know I did. biggrin

And, yeah. I've only really liked Keanu Reeves in Bill and Ted and The Matrix.
Bill and Ted was just freaking awesome.
The Matrix, you know, we hadn't really seen much of Keanu before then.
But now he's wriggling his way into any role that's titled "monotone, serious, expressionless, and slightly troubled".
Though, replacing Michael Rennie is just stupidity and poor judgment; Reeves simply doesn't compare.

'ello. :3
Yeah, I haven't seen the re-make of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Though, I wouldn't turn it down if I got to see it for free.
Preferably with a group of people so we could make fun of it.
Like Twilight.
Which I didn't pay for, lawl.

It wasn't so bad. At least he's so entirely devoid of acting life he doesn't really detract much from the story. However, I loathed the bug clouds.

On the plus side it had the girl out of Labyrinth. Can't beat Labyrinth.

The original The Day The Earth Stood Still movie... you have good taste too!

And yes, that's the one. =D

lol That's great. One of my favourite pictures in the world: http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa297/NyleveBlackMayfair/Vampires__by_EmpressFunk.jpg

I do love English Literature, I must admit. It's the history I'm not too particularly fond of, sadly. I think the one place I want to go in Egypt more than anywhere else is Abu Simbel, the temple Ramses II Built for his favourite wife. Ramses II has got to be my all time favourite historical figure. =) The library in Alexandria is definitely on my list of destinations too, though.

Haha, no, you haven't bored me at all! I think it sounds like a great idea. I'd love to read it.
I'm personally more interested in Revolutionary France, Renaissance Italy and Feudal Japan; England has never interested me quite so much historically. ^.^; Although my absolute favourite time period would have to be Middle to New Kingdom Egypt. It was my dream as a child to be an Egyptologist. xD
Ugh, sparkly Vampires. Lestat would cry if he read Twilight. =O

Why, thank you very much. ^^ Sadly, gaia clumps movies and anime into the same category, so my list is rather huge. I think my music section is far worse, though... ^^;
And it's nice to meet a fellow Victorian Vampire lover in the midst of this high school vamp 90210 craze. lol
What's this epic you're writing about? I am intrigued. =O
