Personally I like the new pokemon 3nodding At first this was my reaction for a little while: "WTF IS THIS SHIAT?! It looks like those Fakemons that fans make! This'll take A WHILE to get used to..." but now it's this: "Wow! I can't wait to get all three starters! heart And the new region is based off of the U.S. too! and the new pokemon are nice! I want the game NOW!"

Well I read this on Yahoo! but I'll sum it up:

basically the 'Y' with the extra line in the middle of the peace is actually air traffic signals; I'm guessing the circle is a symbol of unity. The hippes used this sign as the "peace sign" while it was originally used as a badge and it stood for nuclear disarment;
