I would like a digital art of myself, but I dont want it to be as complicated as what you normally draw...

Yeah, I try to use different colors for the skin too because the skin is not just peach, tan, and sienna brown. There's greys, pink, purples, etc. Thank you for tips, no more gaussian blur. XD
Do you think if I painted something right now and show it you once I'm finished, you could let me know what needs to be improved? You don't have to. =] I'd do the critique thing on DA but I'm not a subscribed member (I think you have to be subcribed to do that).

Yes, and an artist. You already have anatomy, the color theory/practice, and overall mastery of many mediums. It doesnt take much to assure myself that you will be famous if you follow an art career =)


I am a 15 year old aspiring concept artist, my career in the art field is final. As an artist, i can tell who else will go all the way also. I am also trying to get photoshop for myself, just not enough space in my old computer =)

Oh ok. I'm horrible at coloring on photoshop so I just wanted to get an idea on how you and other people do it. I think my problem is I try to rush things. x.x
I really should take my time and probably just try different stuff until I get it the way I want it.

Hey Callie, I have a question. When you do digital painting of people on photoshop, how do you manage to get the skin to look so realistic. I did my first digital painting a couple days ago and I think I abused the gaussian blur tool and it came out horrible. How do you do yours? Do you just set ther brush and different opacities and blur it?
