I am a Michigander who likes to play in the woods and study mathematics in my spare time. I do not watch much television; but when I do, it is usually cartoons--for children or for adults--or old sitcoms. I like to read classical fiction since it has withstood the test of time; however I will read anything contemporary that has substance and catches my eye. I do read manga and occasionally watch anime when I have paid my Hulu subscription; I prefer the original Japanese with English subtitles so I can practise my language skills. My hobbies and interests run a wide gamut and at different times of the year I focus on various aspects according to whim. Many things about me are subject to change so it is hard to nail me down, but I have always been in favor of peace, learning, nature, and artistic expression.
P.S.
I like to explore and experience the whole of the Gaia site, but the particular areas I frequent depend on my mood. I may disappear for a while, but I shall return with a change of phase. When I am talkative, I can be found in the forums; other times I feel like massacring animated in zOMG! I spend quiet time working on insane jigsaw puzzles. I used to do this at my friend's kitchen table, but we were running out of wall space for the completed puzzles, so this is better. And when I need to get away, I go fishing among other things. emotion_yatta

In real life my hair is straight as straight can be, but very long, I can just barely sit on it --
I just had 4 inches lopped-off.
I always wanted Curly hair! Used to get permed all the time.
Now I just French-Braid it, curl, whatever!
