I'm Laguna Loire, President of Esthar. I used to be a soldier for the Galbadian Army, but I really wanted to be a traveling journalist. I did finally achieve that dream and wrote for the magazine Timber Maniacs.
I was married to a woman named Raine at one time, but she died while I was away in Esthar. I kind of got wrapped up in this sorceress thing and ended up being a hero so they needed me as their leader.
After a few more this and that's I was reunited with my son Squall, who I must say is nothing like me and acquired his looks from his mom. His personality? Who the heck knows where that came from? Not from Raine and surely not from me.
Anyway I have since remarried to a wonderful and beautiful woman named Aerith. Squall now lives with us and we have two daughters that we have adopted, named Penelo and Namine. These people are the loves of my life! Oh! And we have a little one on the way! I'm definitely gonna be a good dad and not let this one end up like his/her older brother.
