His left eye was given to Kakashi, in which would've induced more bleeding, leading to the conclusion that Obito most likely bled to death. Also, if somehow he didn't die and was saved by a med-nin, then he'd need two entirely new eyes. He wouldn't need the mask, though nor would he have the sharingan eyes anymore, having lost one and given Kakashi the other. Solid proof.
