Okies, first thing first, I'm a bookworm and all around nerd, so if you don't like that, stop reading and get out of my profile.

Alright, if you got past that, I can tell you a little about myself. My name is Trisha, I'm a college student in Canada (yes, it is cold in the winter XD).
I am a major Trekkie (resistance is futile, I will make you one too XD) and I love to write fanfiction. Seriously, I spend way too much time on fanfics. I am a big supporter of the K/S fandom, but I won't attack you if you have a differing view. My favorite TOS character (other than Kirk and Spock, who take the cake any day... besides, they're a given) is Chekov. He's adorable.
And by the way, Vulcan > Borg
I like TNG, but not as much as TOS (so the obvious answer is yes, Kirk is far superior to Picard in every way, I mean KHAAAAAAN! people. Sheesh). I love Data and Geordi, oh and of course, Spock. But it's no secret that I hate Riker and Wesley Crusher with a burning passion. They... Just... They're icky.
And of course, Odo/Kira from DS9 will always make me smile. DS9 is currently warring with TNG for second-favourite series. XD
I will not trash talk any series of Star Trek (yes that includes Enterprise, I like it, shut up). Voyage is good, mostly because of Seven. I love her.
I love grammar, so I have been known to correct people's writing. I've been getting better at not doing that. Just don't hate on me for it (I put a lot of effort into learning English). I will most likely destroy you in a most painful fashion if you do. (Just kidding, but I wouldn't push it if I were you.)
To further the fear created from that last statement, I obtained my Black Belt in karate a few years ago, and I can still throw a decent punch. I have become very interested in the Japanese arts, and I'm getting really good at some of them. I will use my origami as an example.
I adore technology, but despite my capability to fix most electronics, I know almost nothing about them :S I just figure it out logically. A skill that seems to be escaping people as of late.
Lastly, and this might surprise you because of all the "geeky" things I listed above, I am what you could call a "Metal-Head". I adore Power Metal, such as Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius, so if you like them and others like them, we have a good chance of getting along.
