Tirinde snorted and looked at Yolanda meaningfully. The dryad was not paying attention, however; she was looking at Tiokou with an unreadable face. Finally, she patted Del on the shoulder. "Del, finish up your cornflakes," she said briskly, and hustled him from the kitchen when he was done. She then turned and looked at Tirinde. "Tirinde, go make sure he's not creeping around listening in." Tirinde opened his mouth to object - Yolanda silently pointed her finger in the direction Del had gone, and Tirinde flew after the boy in a resigned fashion.
The dryad turned to look at Tiokou and Roger. "Your kingdom's - and Tiokou's - needs aside, I've made it my top priority to find - and serve - Asheron. We need to make arrangements for Del, and for the house, and-" her voice broke suddenly. She sighed. "Let's just... try to do this in a professional manner. A professional one." She hoped the implication was not lost on Tiokou, and she glared at him for good measure.
