When looking at your profile, there should be a button in the top right corner that says edit my profile. You can make small changes there. If you want it completely customize, go to Account, in the My Gaia menu, and enter your profile code in the theme. If you do that, you also have to change the option "Choose Profile" to "classic" on the preferance screen.
