Hey..to do your background, go to edit profile layout and click on themes...yu cn use any link you have as a background...and for the rest...this computer isn't working well right now...but I think there should be something like account settings in My Gaia...and there, you can write your signature and about me, you can also open a link that uses html coding for your layout...(music videos)

I hope this makes sense...
