I'm writing this all again because my computer crashed and hoping it turns out as well as the first time. But either way: as you've decided to check out my profile, I suppose an introduction is in order ~
My name is Aleksis Orion. (Yay for phonetic spelling!) However, you can call me Ali, or Lexi, or any other name you think suits me. I tend to collect nicknames ;P
I am a college student and an aspiring photographer, who loves animals. Unfortunately, my self esteem tends to be rather low on a regular basis, but I'm sure I'll grow out of that soon! I am always looking for ways to better myself, though. I've been through a lot in my life and I'm pretty damn happy with where I am now, but I know that I can always keep improving. At the moment, I'm working on letting my mind have a bigger hand in a lot of my decisions than my heart. Even if I tend to make decisions based more on emotion than logic, don't think that means I'm a push-over. I have high standards set for myself as a human being.
As I said, I am an aspiring photographer and one day I hope to be able to call myself a professional. I also love animals; they have been a huge part of my life. The fact that they love unconditionally, don't judge no matter what, and have a near inability to feel hatred as long as they're treated right always makes me smile. I don't know where I'd be today if it weren't for my two dogs.
I highly enjoy anything creative. From listening to music or watching someone fix a car, to learning a new skill and being able to perfect it. My current crafting hitch is crocheting, but I also enjoy reading, writing, drawing, sewing, cooking, and decorating.
