Children are serious business and not something to jump in for the faint of heart. I used to be totally okay with kids dying in movies and the Halloween props. Now I just can’t. I’m constantly worried if I’m going to mess my child up in the long run or if I’m doing things right. There will be times you wanna slap them and others you want them to just ask you for help one more time. Nothing but a giant struggle realizing you are raising someone that will one day not need you anymore and then it will be time to try and find something else to keep you from feeling empty.

Sometimes, it certainly can be hard. I think if you only have 1 and not more than that, makes things so much easier. But it depends, if yours has special needs, then it makes things different. Kinda just take each day as they come and tell yourself that your goal is to have them grow up to be able to make it out there.
