Nooooo it's not a monstrosity hahahaha He did look like Kappa though, but if it isn't him... which character is it? surprised I can relate, but with the Harvest Goddess. The way she would just randomly deliver her child to you in DS had me dying

Honestly, I was skeptical about the artstyle as well, but after playing it for a bit now it really grew on me. It's very beautiful, but very modern. At times I do miss the grittyness of the old game though, it had so much charm and it made the game more realistic. I say give it a shot anyway! Maybe when the game is on sale? I know SOS games go on sale often on Steam. I like the FOMT remake a lot, but some of the character designs put me off sweatdrop I do LOVE Cliff's redesign though! He's so cute and handsome. I wish they kept the signature ponytail though, it was such an iconic look. And I get what you mean about the age difference, it was one of the reasons why I never woo'd her in HMAWLSE.

WAS THAT KAPPA?! I have a sticker of him on my sketchbook telling me to go away xD Gosh now I feel like replaying FOMT, but my games are in moving boxes right now and I haven't brought my gaming consoles over yet sweatdrop

I'm currently playing the new AWL remake (my fav harvest moon) and I really like it so far. Normally I romance Muffy/Molly, but I've decided to go for Lumina this time... and she definitely became a new fav of mine. She's so cute! Also thanks! I'm going to make an entirely new portfolio. Two colleagues of mine who went to art school gave me some very good tips regarding on how to make a "good" portfolio. The admissions are in October/November again (depending on the school), so I have time to work on it. Honestly, it is exhausting, but it's all so worth it! smile

Honestly... I've been ready for quite a while now. My relationship with my family, specifically my parents, is complicated. It's toxic at home and it's been taking a toll on my mental health since forever. I think my parents are also relieved that I'm finally picking up my life and that I'm moving on. I won't live very away from them though, so maybe that's why they find it easier to let me go? Knowing that I'm in the area. My dad is helping me fix up the place, we've actually spent all day painting the walls (we're almost finished) and hopefully we can start on the flooring next week. We need to buy some more laminate though, which we will be doing on Friday! Very sweet of him to help me out with my apartment

Well, I've applied to multiple art schools twice, but they all rejected me. But I've made a website and other social media accounts where I can post my art and I've been networking a lot and it's kind of paying off? surprised I've been invited to a panel discussion as a guest-artist. The topic we discussed was 'Outsider' art and 'Insider' art and how can we make art more accessible to people with a disability. I've also been invited to participate in a ceramics show at a gallery in Amsterdam. It was a collaboration between the gallery and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (I'm going to apply for that one in October). My work is currently being exhibited there until the 9th of July and next month I'm holding a 1-days exposition at the same gallery where I can promote all of my art and have people get to know me, the artist behind the work. Lots of opportunies have been presented to me! I'm also planning on applying for an exhibition at my local hospital. They're holding exhibitions every 3 months and I have a few art pieces that might be able to lift up morale at the hospital, so I hope they'll invite me. My other work is currently on hold due to me moving, but once I'm settled in I'll continue right where I've left off! smile
