She watches him for a little while, almost not believing it...Is he really still looking for her?
"You know, Spider..." Timed oddly with her words, a helicopter flies above, temporarily haloing her in light and lifting her silvery hair to curl in the wind produced. She's on a rooftop nearby, crouching on the edge and looking down at the good hero.
"The whole 'here kitty kitty' thing?" As the helicopter moves on, it's back to the darkness, and there's little to be seen of her, though she keeps speaking, allowing her position to be known for the moment.
"It's a little overdone."
She shouldn't be bantering with this guy, she should have split....But he's so fun to tease, and a part of her is curious. Is Spider turning this event into a social call? Or has he just figured out how to push her buttons?
“Will you, now?” Cat taunted the hero, despite the fact that they both knew he was being entirely sarcastic. Her movements were equal parts seduction and offense, a combination that had come with lots of practice, and her catty grin showed it.
When Spider silenced the two officers, she grinned even wider, laughing at him and placing her hands on her hips, lifting one slightly. “Isn't it a little counterproductive, Spider, if you're doing crime to prevent crime? I wonder who the police will be most upset with.”
__
Outside, a smattering of curious onlookers were beginning to gather for various reasons. Some were frustrated with the noise and there to demand it be silenced, some simply to see what was going on, and some because, hey, it was the jewelry shop. At least a few of those were calling the police.
When one of said police was stuck the the car by the local supposed hero, there was a panic, and folks started to clear out, some running, some backing away and trying to take shots with their cameraphones.
__
Cat wasn't too thrilled about the crowd, though she did take a bow and gesture towards her companion of the moment. “Your friendly neighborhood Spider-man, people! He'll be here all week.”
A vicious grin, and she moved to slip away while he was busy trying to figure out his next move.
