Have you read the Uglies series, by Scott Westerfeld? Amazing books. Also, The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein is also very good.

I feel so unlucky. my school still hasn't started.

The term Unwind is to describe rather unruly, "I-don't-care,-I'm-a-teenager" sort of child.
It's a term I picked up from the book Unwind by Neal Shusterman.
