I'm out of high school and heading for college in late August. I'll be going into computer science. I always joke around with one of my friends, he wants to design video games and I say 'I'll be making the programs you use.' Right now I'm down in my usual summer place, Florida. I'm mostly chilling out and trying to get a job so I can get an apartment with the boyfriend when I get back up to Iowa. Of course he'll be saving too and my step dad is matching me dollar for dollar up to $1,500. That sounds like I'm made of money >< but I'm not^^ Right now I've got about $3 in the bank but I have a very promising job coming up that pays $10/hr selling T-shirts. Then I'll be made of money. I'll also only have about two months left to save up that $1,500 >< If I did my math right $10/hr x 8hrs a day x 5 days a week = $400 a week so I have about 6 week left so $400 x 6 = $2400. XD But then there are taxes. . . and S.S. stuff . . . and cellphone . . . and mom's birthday (Can't complain about that one, she's the one making my step dad match me) And all she asked for from me where these body lotions from the dollar store XD The boyfriend will be saving up money too but idk his money math thing since one day he'll work 4hours the next day 10hours. He also is only making Iowa minimum $7.25 and I salute the guy. He really is a sweet heart. He could be buying video games and candy but instead he's putting his heart into this. Makes me feel bad because I still haven't gotten a for sure job yet and people keep saying "We'll call you back later." Well I don't have later! I gotta get some money!
