Yeah, the chance items really suck. I never play them anymore because I always had horrible luck.
I absolutely love RIG items but I refuse to actually buy the RIGs to play myself. I just buy the items I want instead.

My fiance and I support ourselves so I have money to put towards Gaia.
I mostly buy items with Gaia Cash and sell them for gold in the MP.
Also, my mom uses Gaia and loves it so she often surprises me with cash cards. xD

It's so weird how life's pace can change so dramatically overnight.

I've been doing really well!
I was really busy last weekend when I was the Featured Avatar, but things have slowed down since then.
Other than that, there's nothing too new with me.
