No, just instinct, I believe. Once they become full vampires, they don't have a right or wrong, or even distinguish friend from foe.

Dusk? Well he's a vampire....I think I may have mentioned him before...I'm not sure though...but I'm pretty sure I did...(did I? I apologize if I hadn't); Dusk is an evil vampire (well that's a little redundant, since I've never heard of a good vampire before) who is...evil.

Well, their human forms have hair, yes, Dusk had rather long hair...it's just their vampire form that doesn't have hair.

Their skin is interesting, though, in the day, it's like ours, and then it gets shed at night, but then grows back overnight for daytime usage....it's quite odd, really.

It certainly isn't, but all they did really was cut her hand, she's suffered worst afflictions before. (And according to Kenspeckle Grouse, it's all my fault.)

That's the reaction I was going for. Ha ha.

Oh no, not like a vampire at all, vampires are bald and vicious. (Actually, speaking of which, she was almost turned into one by a dreadly vampire named Dusk, who worked for Vengeous. He has a grudge against her for slashing his face with Sanguine's razor, a razor from which the scars will never heal.)

Vampires aren't really all pretty and human-like as the movies make them out to be. (At night, they shed their human skin, revealing pale, bald creatures with enormous fangs. Controlling them is impossible, but there are potions a that can be injected into a vampire to make them human, but that has to happen before they shed all of it.)

Yes, but you have to remember, these are the Faceless Ones' radicals we're talking about. If the vortex the Grotesquery tried to open had actually opened...well, I probably wouldn't be speaking to you now...but I'm sure the majority of the Grotesquery couldn't have even been accomplished if it weren't for magic; or without the blood of the Ancients, which came from Valkyrie, my partner.

Ah yes, Valkyrie Cane IS quite the genius. She's a smart lass, and her Elemental magic is coming along quite well. (But, if you were to analyze the situation, some would put the blame of the Grotesquery rising on her, since she's a descendant of the Ancients. Actually, we were involved in a tight situation where I had to kill her because of it...well, kill her reflection. Either way, it was rather disturbing, even if it was a reflection...it's not a normal one, she uses it too much...)

I wouldn't exactly call them a "genius", the Grotesquery really is a terrible thing. It nearly killed me...well, you know what I mean...again...probably, but my partner saved us all somehow, she's quite skillful for a thirteen-year-old. I personally think that anyone foolish enough to try to resurrect the Faceless Ones by creating such a beast is, well, a fool...but that's just my opinion. I don't like the Faceless Ones.

They may have been stolen from him; but in all honesty, I've seen much stranger. Well, stranger in my opinion, then again, strange is in the eye of the beholder, now isn't it?

The Grotesquery was...well, as you might imagine, grotesque. It was basically a ginormous "Frankenstein monster", so to speak. With the various creatures it was composed of. More like an enormous rag doll, if you ask me.

An interesting experience indeed. I highly doubt he'd have any Faceless blood in him, if he did he'd be far more powerful. The only thing in this world we know of to contain any sort of relation to the Faceless Ones was the Grotesquery, which, by now, is in many, many tiny little pieces. (Thank goodness.) But nice idea, nonetheless.

Aha ha, oh no. See, I do believe Sanguine is an Adept. When I say he travels through ground...he...literally travels through ground; but my partner would know more about that then I, she actually went down with him once. She says it just...opens up for him, and he runs through. Not an enjoyable experience, I'm guessing. He could just leave you there, and you'd suffocate to death...can't see anything down there either, but he can. He's like a mole...and he has no eyes, either...just like a mole.

Well...I think I can trust you, it's not that much.

My partner and I are currently on the trail of Billy-Ray Sanguine, a dangerous individual who can travel through ground. We need to know who his master is; we thought he worked for the Baron, but apparently he had been working on the sidelines the whole time. It's to be believed that his master is more dangerous than Baron Vengeous, and that they may want to resurrect the Faceless Ones as well...solving this isn't going to be as easy, but we'll manage.

Oh yes, I've seen a lot in my time. Although most of it wasn't very good, with the War and all, but that was a very long time ago; but there's still mysteries to solve and bad guys to arrest, so I'm sure I'll see quite a few more things.

Oh ho ho, I'm much older than that. (Don't let the 1906 fool you, this system wasn't made for people like me, who were born long before that.)

The Faceless Ones were the evil gods, the Ancients were the first sorcerors; and I am rather glad I am not a pile of ash as well...it would hard to drive my car and solve mysteries otherwise.
