To those who are confused how i got the name, Syslius of Nurvida, I'll explain here.
Syslius, a alchemist wielder of unique ink called Onyxium. With Onyxium was delovped by witches when alchemy was still practiced. Many though it was magic but was more put into primal science and chemistry. It was disovered by Juilie Gavenfroth, who found documents and notes by druids from England. It was unknown content that was tar or a black glue. When it was first used to connecting wood, but once gotten on a carpenter's hands, it began to, 'steam' or 'smoke'. Then, it was unremoveable from that point, with anything they had. They put on a rabbit to see if it would do the same. It did, but worse. The rabbit became, 'corrupted' and became into a heep of Onyx stone. Days after, the same happened to the carpenter's hands. They abandoned the content, by dumping it in a river, which soon contaminated. They tried burying it, but same effect as the river. The last attempt was burning it, but it created a 'black fire.' It wasn't long before they had to put it, due to suffocation. One of them, wanted to refine it, or alter it. Many saw it a danger and had almost destroyed all the documents. Juilie, studied it and altered it to be less 'toxic'. She was succesful...to an extent. She clearly stated, that too much will 'corrupt' the subject. Too little, will not have much of a effect of it's powers. She found this out when coating peasent's hand. She put oil and lit his hand up. Surprising, he was not harmed. She wanted to extend the content to another level: By creating it without a pure element. After the years, she was unsuessful by altering it futher. In frustration, as she coated her hand with content, lighting her hand on fire, the fire was bursting out of her hand in a unusual state, as if her emotions was effected by it. As she though of fire, the sensation of burning, she made it by pure thought. Before she died, she called it Onyxium. Many witches were putting tattoos after. Syslius dicovered it, by a woman named Paragrine As she held the very last document of the witches had. She had to destory it due the witch hunts. As Syslius decided to help her, by learning the formula and keeping Onyxium alive. But this just explains his power.
In his philosophy, you cannot die without scars or 'markings of history'. Even death is a scarring. Assassins usually work in the dark, in the nocturnal part of the earth to make the day brighter. For Onyxium, it was perfect for him and his skills.
