i used to play piano, and i played the trumpet a couple of years ago in middle and high school.... i'm from Georgia... and... i like taking long walks on the beach (lol)
my social security number is ... hehe jk but yah... you said you were english on your prof.. as in from England english or as in "I'm American and we speak english here not no spanish"... type .... person... lol

of course queen! the only reason they were so awesome was because they were trained in classical music ... then they added guitars to it... kinda like the transiberian orchestra? classic christmas songs with electric guitars!! its awesome, although i only like one of their songs because christmas music isn't really my thing... i was traumatized as a child, you see... lol...

and with the playing instruments when you know how?... i don't really feel guitars are the instrument that they used to be... it seems like everyone can play one and tries to sing with it... and yet when they sadly attempt something with their untrained vocal chords... it ends up being some sad version of a country song... now, i understand that billy ray cyrus is a country singer that is all fine and good... and if she could sing... that would be all fine and good too. Elvis's daughter attempts a career singing but idk if it is really working out for her... and i'm related to Billy Dean, but no body sees me attempting to sing and become the next youtube star... i'd turn out like william hung... she bang she bang... that whole shindig lol my philosophy on singers is that they should sing... behind a curtain... for a group of people live. the people should vote on whether the person can sing or not, and if they can, the person comes out... if not, the person goes home... actually... that would be a friggen american idol behind a curtain with a bigger judge panel ... hehe guess the idea is void *shrug* but i really think that is how people should become musically famous... and let me tell you what, i would submit my roommate because she has a voice! lol

lol kinda like queen? same here.... i really listen to cd's that the beau makes for me... can't steal musics off of the school's interwebs exactly... he was into the whole indie thing before i was ... modest mouse was his favorite first, now it is cake... for me... current fave is lily allen... first was tegan and sara, then regina spektor... for as much as he hates regina spektor i try to make him listen to it without him finding out :3 hehe he is into one of the songs the eels sings i think atm... not sure though... but anyways, more classical would be awesome for today's society... there was this one band that is a violin quartet that did a tribute to muse... song is called 'time is running out' it fits an exciting rainy day with lighting and stuff.... helps me feel better too biggrin

yup smile it sucks though that everyone is in love with the things that people sing now adays... i'm kinda thinking of calling my top hits station and completely chewing out someone but i figure that i will be hung up on lol... you know? like, idc about this song that has been playing for god knows how long... i friggen remember a song that they still overplay from before the origional hit station was bought out by a country station. it just seems kinda ridiculous... kinda like "well mr dj *cough*... i would like to hear the new song from this band... what? you don't have them? i thought you played the newest songs? this cd came out like in... december or something. what do you mean you don't play them? that is crazy... (like i'm about to go all over your a**) lol this whole thought came over me when all the station played was rap when i wanted to hear somthing that wasn't miley whoreus or lady gaga the hermie.... idk.. i was having a bad day too lol

lol well, music wise i just kinda like what i like... going from high school to college really opened up alot of my views about many things... lol especially music smile but at the moment, those are pretty much the only bands i'm listening to ... but i also enjoy oldies like Frank Sinatra and Elvis and stuff... classic rock... especially Queen! love them... and then ... uhm... idk... listening to alot of the popular songs from the 90's is a new thing that my friend and i have recently done... that was fun smile but that is about it for music... and with the whole rant thing? i'm just writing it as i see it
