Haha it's more of the fact thats one of the only majors I can have that is available at teh school I am transferring to as well the uni I may attend if I go into the abroad program. sweatdrop
You do have a point there madam!Much rather love a job and not have to work a day in my life, than having a high paying job that I hate with a passion.
You're welcome, always glad to help a friend,or give advice.. or whatever. xP
Life is okay, just been so incredibly busy with homework and classes. So I don't get much time to myself nowadays.
How about you? What's up? Hows life?
Journalism sounds very nice!
I thought of that, but English is getting widely used in other countries,so it'd make it a bit difficult. I'm thinking of being a sociology major, well I'm just thinking of it. >.<
Oh wow! Both of those take a lot of time and dedication! I definitely do not blame you. Haha
I kept thinking the same at first, getting married before 30, I still think of it,but I want a big wedding..and a big house...and other big stuff...so I'll be in school and working for a while. I guess the important part is,not to have kids. Hahah
Oh that's a VERY good idea! You're quite the smart thinker Madam!
I wish you luck with you endeavors.
Ultrasound Technician sounds very nice! I actually considered that! I also was considering X-ray technician,I worked at a hospital at the Radiology department, and a lot of the people in the department kept telling me that I should do that. They make VERY good money. Just a small recommendation. wink
But it's called Berea College.
But anyways thank you.
Yeah,I was wanting to do something Pharmaceutics, but I changed my mind. I dropped my Bio major, and I'm currently Undecided on a major, but I'm doing that right now so I can get easy classes and such.
I am still thinking of what I would like to do. To be honest I would like to learn Spanish,Portuguese, and French, maybe do something business. I honestly have no idea what I want to do. I need to hurry and decide, because college advisers sort of rush that. :S
But I would like to travel, preferably Europe, I guess I want a well paying job that involves travel and communication. Now I have to find what sort of major I would need.
Sheesh,this stuff is pretty stressful.
So decided on a major yet? ^^
Oh wow! That sounds awesome!! biggrin
Do you enjoy it?
No,I never have. I always wanted to though, well in high school I had the opportunity, but the teacher I heard was mean and strict so I never bothered. I'm going to be transferring colleges,so when I do,I plan to take Spanish. I also would like to take French (though I heard it's hard to learn because of the large amounts of vocabulary). I'm learning Portuguese right now, which is incredibly similar to Spanish. Some of my Brazilian friends keep telling me that I should learn some more Spanish first before trying Portuguese, because it makes Portuguese so much easier to learn.
But the school I'm going to hopefully transfer to has an amazing abroad program and is affiliated with a lot of great ones too!
The school has a 3 month one (during the summer),so pending on the amount of a certain language course you take, you get to go study in that country for 3 months. So hopefully if I get to go there,I will take several Spanish courses (hopefully do good in them) and go to Spain for 3 months. The school pays for ALL the expenses for the trip, room and board, transportation, everything! it's amazing!
So if I can do that well, and if I can stand being away from the USA for three months. Then I'm going to try to then go to another abroad program that the college is affiliated with, and go to Portugal! emotion_kirakira
Theres one that has some English Courses while at the same time trying to improve your Portuguese,I know the college helps out with paying for it.
But it all sounds wonderful.
I hope you one day get to go to Spain! biggrin
I'm glad you're doing better!^^
I've been decent, had some ups and downs along the way. Mostly just been studying for school (thought I did nothing but be sick during summer break). I'm trying to learn a different language so I can study abroad, would love to go to Portugal or Spain. emotion_kirakira
So what have you been up to?
You haven't been online in like forever!
We need to do those super long PMs again like we used to do.
