Step one) On your profile page, in the upper right corner you should see 'Edit my profile' . Click that and wait for it to reload.
Step two) The little blue box that popped up and is hovering at the right? That how you change things. Click on the button that says 'theme'
Step three) you should have a box in the center of your screen now. It has some basic stuff on it there, but what you need to look for it the tab that says 'URL' on it, and click that.
Step four) Take the image location and put it in there. If you don't know how to do that, let me know and i'll tell you how to to get the location out of an image.
Step five) After the image location is in there, hit the tiny blue button that says '+Add' and watch the magic. Close the box in the center screen.
Step six) Look good? On the smaller popup on the right, click the 'Save' button.
Final step) Go back up to the top right of the page and hit 'View profile'. if anything comes up at that point, like save changes, or leave page, do it. ^,..^
And grazzles! You now have shiny new background biggrin
