Alright, so I'll finally put something here, sheesh.

Skeet was born, raised, and lives in Brooklyn, New York

Intermittently in college classes with a major in Creative Writing. Intermittently because I can't really afford it. If I could make writing my profession, I would be in heaven. I seem to have a problem with actually putting pen to paper, these days, which is a shame. I'm working on many different stories, all at once, and all with very little actual "work" going on.

Been role-playing since time immemorial, but I won't LARP because I know I'd probably either feel too much like an idiot or get entirely too into it and go overboard. Pencil & paper with dice are good by me, along with free-form roleplaying online.

Video games run rampant through my life, and while I may not really be the best at anything I consider myself pretty darn good at everything most things.

I'm competitive on some levels, and very -not- on others.

I have a tattoo on my chest that I'm debating picturing here in my profile, but we'll see about that. It's a circumscribed pentagram surrounded by runes. Take from that whatever you want.

I'm into otherkinism, consider myself a dragon, and have for years; please try keep comments about this to yourself though.

I like to hang with friends, but I'm somewhat anti-social. I do like to get out and do things, but I'm usually happy enough to stay at home and do whatever.

Yes, I do hoard things.

I'll be friends with you, but like I said, I'm kind of anti-social and I need more than just a random friend request.

I dabble in drawing, but I'm not confident enough at it to post anywhere, even if I could since I have no scanner. I have the patience, and people have told me I have the talent, I just don't really have the drive to pursue it. So, dabble.

I'm a self-proclaimed (and oft confirmed) arrogant son of a b***h, and proud of it. On the other hand, I'm a bounce around goofball. Dual personalities? Doubtful, I just make it a habit of pissing all over the line between genius & insanity.

That's about enough. u_U

Yeah, I liked the old one best, my favorite.
I guess I just liked them more serious-toned. XD
But yes, they are pretty comical (and adult even) with their content, so that's even better.

I feel bad that I don't know what RWBY is or what Rooster Teeth is. sweatdrop
But there's always Google to do some digging.

I've not seen several of them that you have mentioned.
The only one I've seen from that whole list is One Piece. rofl
I think I stopped watching it um... I forget the story line arcs. XD
I think around the time Chopper was around his home, something like that.
I only know (so far) older anime - Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Trinity Blood, stuff like that.
*sees you flailing*
Should I be concerned emotion_0A0
*flails with you*

Yay, fellow Teen Titans fan~! emotion_awesome
I tried to watch part of the new chibi-series, but I just...couldn't.
The scenes I saw had to do with twerking, so I just wandered off to other things.

Never watched RWBY, either version.

So, what anime shows do you like to watch? emotion_kirakira

Never heard of Sonic Boom, but Teen Titans Go? emotion_brofist
Yes or no - have you seen the other version of Teen Titans?
And if you have, what are your thoughts comparing it to the original TT Go?

My mistake, sorry.
I thought maybe if you had ever had to babysit him / keep him company, maybe you showed it to him when he would be around.
I like watching anime by myself, honestly.
If my mom or my sister walked into the room and there was a blush-worthy scene going on the TV that was very out-there in weirdness, I'd be like "CHANGING CHANNELS! YOU SAW NOTHING!" emotion_0A0
Probably like Spongebob watching sea anemones when Gary slinked into the room.
My family doesn't watch anime much (my sister very rarely does,) so they wouldn't understand.
So I prefer to watch it alone and laugh out loud at corny jokes because I'm a cornball like that. rofl

Yes, I agree with that.
Luckily, anyone who wins or loses to me doesn't have to deal with that.
I'm the clueless player, pretty much all the time.
Lose: "Oh my gosh no way I never saw it coming!? Dude you got me. You kicked my butt." XD
Win: "Yay~! That was super lucky~!"

Win or lose though, I think my reactions are absolutely precious. emotion_yatta
Unless I'm going against a computer.
Then I'm a sore loser.
Me vs computer: "You cheat! You lie! I demand a rematch!" emotion_0A0 *loses again* "No freaking way man! How can I lose to you!? You're just a computer!"
Poor computers, there is no love. XD

What shows would that be? XD
I'm pretty sure if I had to influence a kid, there's gonna be 90% comic book hero-based stuff. rofl
So cute that you guys watch them together like that.

I know her mom heard everything about what I said I would do, but her mom didn't bring it up with me.
Obviously, if you're a parent, you teach your kids not to be vandals.
She's lucky I'm a good person who just gave her a reason to stay away from my stuff.
People these days are nuts.
Anybody these days lose their life over so much as looking at a person the wrong way.
Though I don't know how she's doing these days, hopefully she's turned out to be a little bit better. sweatdrop

I never really played games with my parents, I'm not much of a gamer.
I know no card games, and I'm not a huge fan of board games.
I just don't like cheaters because I've dealt with gamer cousins who did not take losing to a girl very well.
One cousin: "You beat me because you're older than me and thus have more experience than me" before having a hissy fit and throwing things around
Other cousin: "I will challenge you to a rematch fifty times over, or at least until I defeat you once, and then I win, and there will be no rematches because I am the winner."
And then other people who were obvious cheaters that were like "I'm not a cheater" despite overwhelming evidence before having a hissy fit to get their way.
Not cool and not fun. talk2hand

I'd probably padlock my door as soon as anyone stepped foot inside my home. XD
But I really understand - no touching, it's mine! emotion_0A0

If I had to teach a kid, I'd be like "You sit down right in front of this TV, and I'm gonna show you some awesome cartoons - nothing but the best for you!" emotion_awesome
Old TMNT, ThunderCats, He-Man, Captain Planet - and tons more. emotion_yatta

Man, I've had to deal with kids not playing by the rules, and even though they're young, you still want to call them a cheat. rofl
What little spunks they are. XD
Reminds me when I was trying to duel with my YuGiOh deck against a friend's younger sister (who was actually about 8.)
She had a mountain of cards placed right beside her hip, and she'd act like she was scratching her side, and she'd draw extra cards.
I said that it was directly cheating and that would mean that I'd win, and she was like "nuh uh I'm not cheating, I'm gonna tell mom."
Even her sisters called her a cheat and she kept denying everything, and then it was funny because I didn't let it slide because she was being such a smug brat about it.
So when I ran out of cards and she had fifty more cards I said "You have over forty cards in your discard pile, so I guess the cards accidentally showed up in your hands."
However
That same brat, when she was at my apartment one day, she took a clear object to my panther poster and scribbled all over it.
I was so angry, I didn't care if she ran crying to her mom or not, I told her if she touched something of mine again, I'd shred every single one of her YuGiOh cards and make her watch.
That poster was over fifteen years old, and it was my very first poster, so that made it that much more important to me.
Her sisters just laughed at her and said she was a liar and said she was busted for drawing on my poster because apparently she was stupid enough to brag about it, and I said that if she did tell her mom, I'd tell her mom to make her pay me directly so I could purchase another poster.
Let's just say, that girl never wanted to be around me again because I don't care who you are or how old you are - jack my stuff up intentionally, I jack your stuff up intentionally.
I don't play well with others, and I have a shirt that says it. rofl

And I'm the same way with adults that don't play by the rules.
I don't believe in cheating, I'll take my losses and respect that the other person beat me by either pure luck or a better strategy than my own.
But when it comes to cheating adults who are like "I wanna rematch, five times over" because they can't stand to lose to me, or they're like "I'm playing by my own rules" and obviously cheating, then I'm like "Whatever, I'm done here."
Cheaters just bug me - play like an adult or go play like the kids. talk2hand

It's a bad thing when I can open my Gaia storage and see it's overflowing with junk, and then find it comparable to my closet.
The only two cleanest, neatest things in my room?
DVD shelf and bookshelf. sweatdrop

That's definitely understandable - I'm like "stop you guys I need shelves." gonk
Even my shelves have makeshift shelves.
Don't look Martha Stewart, you'd probably have a heart attack sweatdrop
I bought a few thin slabs of wood, stacked items on top of them, and used the items to lay another slab on before stacking more items.
As long as anybody looks and doesn't touch, everything is... safe. ninja
XD

So cute that he gives you what he makes for you. emotion_kirakira
I have no little kids in my life.
My sister hasn't had any yet, I don't want any, and my relatives and I have a mutual disinterest in each other, so I never see any of them and their kids.
That's fine with me though, because if some kid touched my collection, I'd die.
Authenticated comic books, assembled and moving Zoids, YuGiOh and Pokemon cards galore, 80s and 90s video games and their consoles.
I'd literally fill the role of the nag:
"No don't touch that! That's priceless! *gasp* No! Put that back this instant! YOU! If I see one scratch on that -! *angry fuming noises*"
All them kids be crying after meeting me.

Gift-giving back in the old days was probably easier because peoples' kindness wasn't taken for granted and people weren't so materialistic, in my opinion.
Like, the people in the Great Depression - give a person a pair of used shoes, and they'd feel grateful forever, because it was their livelihood.
Nowadays it's like "Ugh. This person bought me an electric coffee maker when I prefer a cappuchino maker of high-end name brand."

I think that gifts shouldn't matter - I grew up poor, so I can understand not being able to give gifts.
But it's those that don't understand who should be a little more grateful - it's not about the item, it's about the person you're trying to be friends with.
I've given gifts to those who were much more poor than myself, and they highly wanted the present / highly did not want the present, but I was always like "I know you always wanted one, don't worry about paying me back because I don't care."
I don't care about being paid back, I just feel like I'm helping them out, as a friend should do.

Ironically, I don't really get gifts in return, but I guess part of the reason is because I'm never really able to keep a friend around. sweatdrop

That's the way I am though - someone buys me a gift, I keep it, because it's from them.
Even though I'm not into Minions and I'm not into Mecha suits and stuffed animals, they're still in my IRL inventory. XD

I used to be highly against giving gift cards as gifts, but when family requests for gifts were not found in stores, I had to improvise with cards.
Now it's 50% online items, 50% gift cards, and everyone has a set price limit so no one gets jealous and says 'you paid more for X than me.'
I think it started when I got my own gift card, to go to the movie theaters.
I liked what I got, so that was another reason why I decided to include them. XD

If only people weren't so darn picky these days.

Aw, you're welcome! emotion_kirakira emotion_hug heart

So you know, IRL, I'm a very awkward gifter / giftee.

I actually do not like giving gifts because I don't like the awkwardness it creates between me and the giftee.
Me: *shows up with gift*
Them: "Oh, uh... gee... thanks... you didn't have to though... I didn't get you anything..." (Basically: They didn't consider me as a friend, so they didn't expect the present.)
Me, thinking: "Great, I screwed up yet again." *thumbs up*

If I could choose between throwing rocks across a river to see if I can hit any objects or if I should give someone a gift, I highly prefer rock-throwing.

And why are people so picky about what gift they get.

They get something that's a little cheap, and something's wrong with it, so they act disappointed in getting the gift.
Or they get something that's a little expensive, and they act like you just bought them half of the planet and make a big deal out of it.
But then there are the weird people who are like "No you can't buy me anything, I won't allow it, take it back" because they feel it'd make them indebted.

Gift-giving is so awkward in itself because it's so hit-or-miss. sweatdrop

Well, I think you matter.
*shakes a fist at them people*
Reciprocate or not, friends should make friends happy.

I'm also a bit hard to get along with, so I know how that is. sweatdrop
