*Huggles back* I know how you feel. Been through the same s**t. Not exactly the same, but you know what I mean. Got slapped in the face by my dad for standing up for myself. Mom told me she hated me over and over again and then when she's sober thinks that "sorry" will fix it all. Life just a HUGE pile of crap that everyone has to sift through. UGH! My dad never let me do anything with my friends, even if it was just bowling. He thought I was being a whore and doing drugs when in all reality I would NEVER do those things. It bothered me. Like you said, YOU SHOULD KNOW ME! But after a few years I realized that he was just worried about me. My mom did some screwed up things to him and a lot of other people and I understand that he doesn't want me to follow the same footsteps, BUT seeing how I haven't by now he should realize that I'm my own person who makes my own desicions, which so far, haven't got me into any trouble. I take care of myself despite crappy things I've been told from people I've loved. Your parents need to undertand that too. Grounding you and taking away the things that make you happy won't stop you from making bad desisions (not that you will), but it will only casue you to rebel. They need to realize that you're not your sister, or whoever. You are you. The disicions you make are your own and no one elses. But honestly, hon, it's gonna be a while till that happens. Just hang in there and don't let them get ya down. If you know you're doing nothing wrong that's all that matters. 3nodding
