This one day during the summer it was so hot, and so humid, I had went outside to walk Oskar and it was so hard to breathe outside. I felt like I was inside a super hot oven and couldn't breathe. Then it hit me, this is why Oskar doesn't like to go for long walks during really hot and humid days. It most likely makes it really hard for him to breathe outside since he has a short snout.

Yeah I think the cold weather does that to everyone too. We're supposed to get down to like the twenties tomorrow I think. I can't wait! n.n

I'm actually staying home for Christmas. We figured out what I was going to make for Christmas. Visiting your in laws sounds like fun. Just be careful on the way over there. Awww they get a nice meal too<333 That's awesome. n.n They're going to love that.

Hahahaha yes he is a picky eater. Sadly I almost lost him a couple nights ago. I had to do a partial cpr on him because of his new food. I had gotten him some new food from the store. I thought it was just dry kibble, but it was dry kibble with dried turkey chunks in it. I didn't realize how dry the turkey chunks were until Oskar started coughing. So then I would pat his back and then he would feel better and go back to eating. Then my dad left to the store and not longer after he left Oskar started coughing again, so I patted his back and asked him to slow down on his eating (Because he was really excited to have the new food mixed with his old food), so then Oskar ate some more, and then was choking. His eyes went red and water and he was struggling to breathe. I remember his body tensed up and so I opened his mouth and stuck my finger in his throat to see if I could feel anything. I felt some food stuck but I couldn't remove it. So I pushed it as far down as I could and then breathed some air into his nose(because that's what you do for a dogs cpr) All it took was a good breath, and then he was able to breathe again. He was so shaken up, I tried to help him to feel better by comforting him. He didn't want to eat anymore afterwards. He stayed by my side for the rest of the night, and then all day yesterday he just wanted to be in my lap. When I tried to feed him some lunch he just looked at it from a distance and didn't want to go near it. Even when I tried to encourage him to eat. So then I thought okay, he's probably afraid, I'm not going to force him, but I'll try again at dinner time. Dinner time comes around and he still doesn't want to eat his food. He just looks at it from a distance with that look of fear on his face, so I talk to him, and I tell him that it's not going to happen again, and that I am here and that he is safe. You know? I really try to comfort my boy. So then he slowly walks over to me and I hold a piece of food in between my fingers and he takes the piece and runs back behind the couch to eat it. Slowly he comes out of that shell and sits really close to me as he eats. Today for lunch, he had no problems wanting to eat his food. I'm not giving him anymore of the dry turkey. I thought about tearing it up into tiny pieces and having it soak in some water, but we'll see.

I plan to make him a couple Christmas toys to go along with his Care Bears. So that way he as a lot of toys to unwrap. He really loves it when I make him toys, or when I fix the ones that end up with a accidental hole in them. He'll just watch me do surgery on his plushies with his little hands crossed over and he waits patiently for it. It's absolutely adorable.

I think our high for Thursday is supposed to be in the low 30's. So I really can't wait. I love cold weather, but I think it's because we hardly ever get it.

Oskar
He's more grey in the face now. His eyebrows are grey and I just noticed a grew greys at the top of his head. He still acts like a baby though. Full of energy and always wants to play, but this cold weather makes him and everyone else in the house wanting to sleep more.

Awww I'm so sorry to hear about Kyo. How are you holding up? I totally understand how you're feeling and what you're going though. A new sibling to adopt will be awesome. I'm not really prepared so much for Christmas. Still unsure what to make for my dad and I. It'll be just us three celebrating at home. Which is usually just My dad, Oskar and I just having a nice meal together. Yes, Oskar has his own version of a holiday meal. For Thanksgiving he had a little bit of turkey, with green beans, and a little bit of mashed potato. The funny thing about him is that he doesn't like his food mixed together. He likes it all separated from each other. lol I still have to wrap up his Christmas presents. I got him three care bears for Christmas. He loves to play with plushies. He also loves to unwrap his gifts too.

Oh no. I hope you feel better. I am okay. Thank you for asking. It's been really cold down here in Texas. So I've been enjoying it so much because the rest of the year is just hot and humid summer weather. So this is a nice change for us. I've got shoes for my little Oskar. My Boston Terrier, not sure if you remember him or not. He'll be 11 in January. Are you ready for Christmas?
