I think it's better for rings to be soulbound.

Before the developers made an update, they made it so rings weren't soulbound. They thought this to be a huge mistake, and people were buying their way to the end, so then they made it all soulbound. The rings you see in the marketplace are before the update, and eventually, they'll all be soulbound and then there won't be any more rings in the marketplace.
