It's not over. Don't worry about people making fun of you over the internet. They're just jerks, and you can bet they wouldn't say anything in real life - the internet is anonymous so people think they can say whatever they want without consequences. No one cares about them. But it's not over, hun. You've still got a loong way to go - you've got, like, 80 years before you die, and I don't think that you're going to be miserable for all of them. Just give it time. You're still young, and you've still got a lot of life left to live.
