And if you want to post how much gold you have now people usually do it like this; 101k/404k
So that other people know how much you have left to go and it helps them decide whether they want to donate or not when they see how close or how far away to your goal you are smile

When you go to the tektek page at the top, next to the picture of the avi it says Code copy whats in the code box and that is a code for an image and a link to the tektek page.
So just use tht instead of the link that you're using now.

I would use skyblue or dodgerblue or you can look up color hex codes online and find one that you like and use words[/ color]

Since your avi is winter themed I'd say that if you use any certain colors in your quest thread they should be light blues, so it would match. But that's up to you if you wanted to use any color to make certain words stand out smile

Lol, it'd be better if you just look at a few in the charity/quests forum, you'll be able to see what I'm referring to c:
Some people change the color, size, and alignment of their text to make it more appealing :3
Some people also create a custom layout for their quest thread, with pictures or other graphics c:

Well if you look at my quest thread you'd see that i'm extremely lazy when it comes to making it all pretty, so I don't know if I can help you on that aspect xD!
But yeah, people either title their quest something pertaining to the items they're questing or they come up with something else entirely (i.e like "Shooting Star Quest" or something having nothing to do with the actual quest)

And even if no one hangs around the chat with you, people are more likely to donate if they see that you're serious and dedicated about your quest by bumping it frequently and posting you progress/etc.

When I start a Quest Thread I usually lurk in the Charity/Quest forums for a few days and just see how other people set there's up.
You can either make yours pretty with graphics or pretty colors, or just keep it simple. The first post is usually to describe what you're going after and give a little insight about yourself and all that, an then the following posts usually show your progress, people who have donated, and then sometimes people even have Bumping contests or other types of contests to attract people to the thread and keep it alive.

Lol I am not the person to talk to about design xD
I just usually play around with the fonts (size, color, & location), maybe make a pretty banner... You can actually pay people to create a layout for you...
But I just kinda make mine short and simple ^^ and it worked well enough
