Biography:
Next to nothing is known of this seldom seen Fukutaicho. All that is known is that he is a loyal supporter and assistant to Yamamoto Genryuusai Shigekuni. If appearances are to be believed, he is older than all the other Vice-Captains but is not stronger. The only action he has been seen in so far was the one where Kurosaki Ichigo managed to take out him, Oomaeda Marechiyo and Kotetsu Isane single-handedly. His abilities and his character have yet to been proved but it would seem to most that he is perhaps more able in the administrative side of Soul Society, having been around longer than most.
His attire is slightly different from the other Vice-Captains, with a white uniform over the normal Shinigami attire besides the standard adjutant insignia.

Bio: Sasakibe has proven himself as an excellent leader over his many years in Squad 1. Although he is not the most powerful Vice Captain in the Soul Society few can best him blade to blade. His grasp of the art of fencing is unsurpassed, favoring speed and precision over strength and power.
Hobby: collecting British artifacts.
Dreams for the future: to perhaps some day westernize the Soul Society.
