A guy meets the girl of his dreams and she dies giving birth to his baby, then he goes into a 5 year depression and reunites with his daughter, later in the shows, Clannad After Story, his daughter dies, but in the end it was just.. Kinda like a really bad dream, but they both survive and start a family
